US Black-White inequality in 4 charts

The typical non-Hispanic White family had nearly eight times the net worth of the typical non-Hispanic Black family in 2019, according to the most recent Federal Reserve Bank data. That gap stems in part from lower rates of home ownership and smaller inheritances among Blacks.

I could really have used some of that privilege when I was getting beat with asps while unarmed ,or tazed while unarmed, or the 5 times I've been evicted, or the times I got passed up on promotions in the army for women that got a higher percentage on their physical test for runs 2 minutes longer than mine, or the 30 more push ups I did than them in 2 minutes, the privilege really would have came in handy the endless times I've been denied a home loan even with my guaranteed va loan. Imagine fighting for a country that labels you the bad guy. Then forgets you even exist.

As a privileged white guy must work three jobs to keep my head above the water. If the government would stop taxing the s#*t out of my overtime I would be ok. I really don't think the problem lies with what your ethnicity is. I believe it's more work ethic. It is not because of the color of my skin that I have a job. I think it's more to do that I show up to work when I am asked and on time. I stay until the job's done and volunteer for any and all work my company may have. This is why I have a job and have always had a job. I don't have to use my skin color as my resume for I have integrity and an understanding of my responsibilities.

I am so sick of this crud
Being born into poverty is not an excuse
Get married find a job
that is the math for getting out of poverty
Most Hispanic families here are supporting other families in their country
They hide their money most are planning to go back to their country eventually
So tell me what is it you think you know
I was born into welfare and was a father at 17
the difference is not because I was white
it's because I took responsibility and although that life doesn't serve me today
I did bring up my children
at the time that was important
In hindsight not so much
I never saw this world coming
although I live under a fixed income today back as I started
my children have productive lives
the chain of poverty has been broken as a result of My Sacrifice
that's how generational wealth is built
each generation doing a little better than the previous

In city of Regina, Saskatchewan between 1990 to 2002 three hired First Nations before two preferred white workers that first year end fall season the three First Nations workers all laid off unlike the two preferred white employees by inherently racist water distribution supervisors and union representatives ignored seniority union rules. This would be our unjust Publicworks experience for 12 years all three First Nations workers always laid off unlike the two white employees. Do the math two white employees earned minimum $40,000 yearly x 12 years = $480,000+ with overtime given during period. Whereas we earned less than $20,000 yearly x 12 years = $240,000 with no overtime. Also the three First Nations workers had to cope with ongoing extreme racism and poverty poor ways unkind struggling every winter for five weeks waiting for employment insurance never enough pay rent and bills every year. Worst I passed every Publicworks certification program offered was only one left and laid off three years in a row. As older racist supervisors and coworkers bragged how they exploited poverty poor ways unkind, social isolation and racist exploitation of our youth, women and families in poorest neighborhood in Regina. These racist supervisors got extremely angry knowing I was only one passed level one water distribution operator program as I remember the extremely racist threats spoken against my integrity and dignity as as a honest accountable capable educated First Nation worker. We never had just union representation and no human rights as I know Tony B. could operate any equipment, Valerie M. was good worker and I did my best to be a good worker. (Later I tried again Publicworks to support my children and wife was able to obtain class 2 water treatment distribution operator program but the Saskatchewan operator certification board one worker lost 4 times my certification application in her small one room office and she always added new criteria to deny my certification. I eventually lost my esteem and dignity gave up on my Publicworks career after racist elected leader staged instigated constructive firing circumstances to hurt my ability to do a good job as he swore threatened my dignity on his false narrative unkind towards my integrity and dignity as a good man and father in Saskatchewan. No racist have no shame or guilt for destroying livelihoods and our families as racist use weaponized social poverty, social isolation and racist exploitation to attack non white populations in North America
