2ºI’m just going to say it and if people want to get mad at me don’t care but I believe all female officers should have a male partner period! Yeah yeah yeah I know we live in the era where anything a male can do a female can do too blah blah blah but the truth of the matter is that’s not the case. A male is genetically stronger than a female period! That’s not me saying this that’s just facts and science backs me up on this. Having a male partner would would have helped this poor female officer from getting hurt like this.

4ºthey were all scared to help I guess America will lock u up for anything n ppl can sue u for anything why they weren't trying to use more force. 5ºTraining is essential and clearly this officer did not get it. I clearly see that this was an EDP (emotionally disturbed person or a person in need of supervision)
There's no way, I as a man will try to detain, or even make contact with him. With out appropriate backup. This is not out of being a punk or anything like that. EDP's or PINS's, are incredibly strong. OC spray, mace, Tazers. Have little to no affect.
Some of you may ask what makes me think she wasn't trained.
1. She approached him alone.
2. He at the time of her approach. Was not a danger to himself or the public.
3. The worse misstep, SHE TOUCHED HIM. The universal rule is, you NEVER EVER GRAB/TOUCH AN EDP/PINS.
Policing, is not a job or career CHOICE. LAW ENFORCEMENT is a calling. This is why. Very few do it well.
It is very much OTJT (on the job training). This is why I would not call for her termination.
However, protocols were not followed. She not only endangered herself. She endangered those brave citizens who were forced to intervene, responding officers. Their now responding C3 (Code 3, Officer in need of immediate assistance) Speeding through traffic. This, in and of itself has caused the public to be at risk.

Before raising your hand making an oath. Putting on that uniform, a badge and a gun. One must ask themselves, is this what I am born to do? Can I do this without, bias, fear, favour, or prejudice? These questions, along with others. Should be asked when one applies to be a police officer. During their psychological evaluation and polygraph examination. These things should be a must. Training is essential.
