Animals and birds killed by humans for meat are sentient beings like human beings. Just as a human being is quick to get angry and seek revenge if someone has inflicted only a small wound or injury on him, so too when he kills those animals, they also must have felt terrible pain, screaming, anger and vengeance. And if any of the relatives of the people die, worship, prayers etc. are performed according to their own customs for the lasting peace of their souls. But nothing is done for the peace of the souls of those innocent creatures who are slaughtered and killed for their flesh. Therefore, the restless souls of the innumerable creatures that are being added by the millions every day must be hovering in the atmosphere of our earth with feelings of anger and vengeance. Besides, God also must have been angry with us for mercilessly killing his children for meat. And this must be the cause of epidemics like corona, bird flu, swine flu, various kinds of disasters and calamities. Moreover, people are caught up in all sorts of greed, anger, hatred and conflict, decline in moral values and beliefs, exploitation and oppression of the weaker and the meeker by the stronger, political instability, conflict and unrest in the country, war between nations, all of which are hindering peace in our world. Because, it is said that ultimately one day everyone must bear the consequences of bad karma of killing of innocent animals. Hence, if we let our animal friends live in peace by adopting a compassionate vegan lifestyle, this may be the best solution to bring peace within us, our country and our world including Global Warming!
