1ºI have been listening to a lot of discussion on NPR regarding this issue and a lab leak runs the gamut from having bat guano on site that was infected and nobody knew it and somebody leaving the building without understanding they were infected all the way to the Hollywood movie angle of oh my God there are all these mad scientists.
I think it would be good if people would just stop and take a breath and let science try to figure out what happened. We need not to be politicizing this.
At the same time we need not to ignore it because if it didn’t come from a lab that’s important and if it didn’t come from a lab that’s important. But we may never find out.
There is very little that is 100% certain in science. As information involves then answers change and it’s not because anybody’s trying to cover up it’s because they didn’t have enough information to begin with.
What is critically important is to realize that this is still a major factor in many areas of the world and we’re gonna have to deal with this and other issues in the future. Wait and see what happens if the lung fungus that is ravaging India goes global.
2ºA man without any regrets in his life is one that had lost his life. He is the singular man that stood up against that TFG who has corrupted our entire public healthcare structure, compromised lives of every citizen and committed what one may call the worst mass murder of fellow citizens and it is continuing still today. If one review all the things that he said particularly early on, one has to conclude about two things. One he knew during early phase of this outbreak, no one really knew if wearing mask will be sufficiently protective or what kind that works or there will be enough masks for everyone to have! And moreover, CDC is the one who needs to make the pronouncement because they are collecting the data and he should not jump ahead of them who has the responsibility to make and defend the call. It wasn't his to call as a national policy! Just because he is a scientist and doctor does not make him an expert nor a person that makes public healthcare policies! It wasn't his calling. He works with people who can and should! And why it didn't happen earlier was just not what his role was, a knowledgeable advisor!
3ºEvery human being on this planet was affected by COVID. It is a crime that you have Democrats who don't want to find out exactly where it came from. This is at least the second pandemic out of that Wuhan lab. Second. Yet here we are again, with these despicable people trying to dissemble and do everything to not find the truth. They don't care that it could happen again because all they want is to win political points. It makes me sick to the stomach knowing we have missed at least a year in the investigation and China has probably destroyed most of the evidence. It will be a miracle to find the truth, which means it can happen again. Nothing Trump did compares to this. All of these people have blood on their hands. 5ºI read an medical paper published in 2019 that explained how it was highly likely that a SARS like virus would originate in bats and that the likely origin point would be China. This was well known among epidemiologists. SARS 1 and MERS had natural origins. So the experts have been studying the viruses that bats carry to try and avoid what happened last year. Problem is that not many people were listening. Trump defunded the office that the U.S. had in China over a grudge and the staff, including Dr. Linda Quick whose job was to monitor for upcoming pandemic events, came home in September 2019 just months ahead of the pandemic. If she and her staff had remained in China, this pandemic might have been a different thing and so many people still alive. Trump did this because he was mad at China and wanted to show them. Boy he did, didn't he?

8ºThis is really an unbelievable story. Fauci lied, people died is apparently very true. His emails reveal so many lies it's hard to count them all. He knew non-medical masks weren't' effective. He was told by experts the virus was engineered. He was chummy with China and the WHO and helped further their lies. He knew and supported the research that help create the virus. And let us not forget he relied on a forecasting model that had never been validated when advising Trump that horribly overstated likely deaths. Governors made dozens of society altering decisions on this fake data. This is not incompetence, it's fraud and malpractice.
