1ºUgh. I get it, but bad call on the timing. Facebook is trying to limit trumps ability to message and effect the newscycle until after the 2022 midterms. However kicking the can like this is too shortsighted. Either ban him from the platform indefinitely, or set a date like june 14th, 2026. I say that date cause it will be his 80th birthday. The GOP is in full prep mode to try and retake the house and senate in 2022, to block bidens agenda, and retake the presidency in 2024. They arent jettisoning trump, they need him for that effort. That short of a window allows trump to effect 2024, and we could be in the mess all over again. By punting to his 80th, father time does the dirty work. By 80, he logically cant do the work of a presidential campaign, and more of his supporters will be dead due to age, and 5 years is a long time to be cut off from potential supporters to potentially radicalize. Also we would have gone another election cycle, so he'd be trying to set up a 2028 matchup with messaging, which he might not even live that long.
2ºThe biggest threat isn't from Trump and the derangement syndrome he seems to evoke in so many from all corners of the political spectrum, it's from a small individuals who use corporate media (social and otherwise) to control the narrative public discourse with the "excuse" of protecting us from "misimformation". Sure Trump lies...it's obvious to most people. But the propoganda the establishment media (all of them, Fox, CNN and CNBC included) and tech monopolies - (Zuckerberg and Bezo are basically running the country now) are far more dangerous. How many times are we going to let them lie us into endless wars, or gaslight us by equating strong stockmarket perfomance and the uber rich getting richer with a healthy economy well or by pretending that both parties aren't both owned by Wall Street and the billionaire class? Wake up folks...Trump was a side effect of our corrupt system, and silencing him on social media is just a bit of theater to keep out attention from the real problem.

10ºGreat news. I truly believe that Donald Trump philosophy is the single most dangerous threat this country has faced in my lifetime. His ability control the mind of the weak misinformed citizens his circle is mind blowing and mirrors something similar to brainwashing. Our representatives, Democrats/Republicans are consumed in the noise of self bickering politics. Nothing will work effectively unless we wake up this whole country. If congress continues to not work and listen to the people we will expose and vote them outside of our decision making process. This country is under attack from within.
