1ºWay too many shootings. It's not going to stop because everyone owns guns not just hands guns but Assault Guns and Semi Automatic and even AK-45's just like back in April, two Police Men stopped their car and in the middle of the street was a young man firing an AK-45 at the Police. They were in utter shock. They had to say those 3 letters that God Home Facebook the Comedian writes on top of stories like this one. There is no need for anyone in the United States to own an AK-15 Assault Gun or any other of these Guns used in Military Combat and not on our streets or neighborhoods. Prime Minster Justin Tradeau of Canada said exactly this over a year ago when he (banned) 1,500 Assault Guns in Canada of the buying of them and transporting of them all because he said these types of Guns are used on the Battlefields and not on our streets. He did this after Canada had only one Mass Shooting in Nova Scotia. Look how many Mass shootings we have had. There are too many. All the innocent Children and Mom's and Dad's and Sisters and Brothers and friends many people lost in All our Mass shootings. None of them needed to die because of Guns. No where is safe. Anyone can pull a Gun out and start shooting anywhere. No place is immune to it. Remember the one at Walmart, a Concert, College, our Children's Schools, a Dollar Store, the Waffle House, and on and on.
2ºLooks like America is not safe anymore. The chances of anyone getting shot outside their homes are very high. Everyone can get a gun easily, either own one, or take from their families.
Now we need to know, who are they and why do they resort to this behavior? Recent happenings indicate, people who commit these crimes are definitely not mentally/emotionally stable for sure, even if it is a prank.
Mental Health Authorities and Enforcement Agencies have a big job on their hands, to get to the root of this grave maladay afflicting our nation.
While these experts are on this long and arduous task at hand, it is wise for for Government to seriously look into ensuring guns are removed from irresponsible people.
3ºYes, let’s make it easier to buy guns. No background checks, nothing but cash in hand and you’re good to go. We can have mass killings on a daily basis. America is such a violent nation, it’s in our DNA. Steal, kill, enslave. We never speak of the Genocide America committed with the Native Americans as we confiscated all their land and had programs to encourage the killing off of the American Buffalo thereby eliminating food, clothing and shelter to the native tribes. Then we used slaves to build the country. It is a surprise that with Americans love of guns and violence that this continues to occur?
4ºSemantic nerd here. The word "mass" means "large numbers". Not a couple. Not a few. Not some. Should that word be used to reference "two", or a few, or anything less than - a lot?
Aside from semantics: it could be muddying the issue a bit. All killings are terrible - whether it's two or twenty. But isn't some "stranger indiscriminately shooting as many people as possible" different from killing "some" family, or friends, or neighbors? (Not that it's "not bad" - it is. But it's entirely different from a school or mall or store or clock tower . . . )
