Economies in these states are actually stronger than they were before Covid

South Dakota, Florida, Rhode Island, Nebraska and Idaho are all thriving

This isn’t related to the article but everytime increasing wage is discussed a worn out excuse is always used that it will ruin businesses. First there is no evidence of it. Second minimum wage was designed to match the inflation. Third, prices and rent has increased dramatically in the 11 yrs the wage has been stagnant. Fourth, higher wage means more expendable cash to be spent thus helping the economy. And fifth, you say fast food ppl shouldn’t be making $15 an hour. If that’s the case then fast food should only be open after school hours and summers since it’s a job for kids

Florida...the state everyone complains about

Wages
Healthcare
Education

But seem to be the first choice to move to whenever they get the chance

If Florida sucks sooooo bad...do us all Floridan's a favor...move to California where you can realize your democratic socialist paradise

I purchased a house here in 2007 for 70k...its worth almost 170k now due to the demand for property in Florida from people in NY California and NJ

You look on Floridamoves.com 3/4 of the property in the 100k to 200k range is either under contract..just listed or sold within days

Florida...sooo bad everyone wants to live here
