1ºThis did not have to be that way. My kids have been working in overnight camp with ZERO cases for the last two weeks. The staff was required to be vaccinated. The campers above age 12 was strongly encouraged to be vaccinated. In fact the camp with the help with other local camps organised a pop up clinic in the are. Kids had to provide a negative test to enter and are tested weekly. Masks are worn indoors when they are not in their pods. Yes this is a hassle. However, a billion times better then in 2020 when there was no camp. This could have been preventable. .
2ºI just don’t understand how people that are so eager to leave the house and have our restrictions lifted are so vehemently against doing the very thing that will help get to this point effectively, instead they continue in habits that can very well put all of us in position UK and Canada are currently in, spreading variant strains.
Vaccinated or not, the fact is, the more this virus spreads, the more it mutates to more dangerous strains. People can either understand this or keep turning themselves into lab rat to a virus we have no clue what the side effects of it could be years down to come.
People stop being emotional and learn to separate value for human lives from politics; all your politicians have gotten vaccinated, even the ones lying that they haven’t!
3ºWhy in heaven's sake did they risk the children's lives to be grouping in closely with one another in a summer camp WHEN there is no formal and final pronouncement yet by authorities of health and governance that US had reached the curve shattering process and the vaccination initiatives is still at its height, meaning, the novelCorona virus and its variants, the latest of which is the easiest for transmit, the Delta variant hadn't left yet the country's shores. It is plainly sad why this pandemic is taking more and longer timeline because of skepticism and defiance that it can really affect human lives. And now they are affected, and now they know and now they believe that it is true. Very seriously, the pandemic now is real to them.
4ºGrowing up has never been simple. It comes with lots of challenges like lost marriages, lost love, financial and job problems and so many more, but still there has always been a solution to every challenges that we face in life. Life has been so difficult for me these past few months and I had given up on myself knowing that I will not find love or true happiness again. 5ºTeens, if you want to be fully vaccinated, but your anti-vaxx parents are refusing, don't despair, depending on your age, you can still get up to date in all your vaccines. In fact, getting properly vaccinated, and ensuring you have proper preventative health care, is the PERFECT way to show you understand you have the right to control your own body.
How you do this is to look up your states' laws and check what the age limit is for you to get vaccinated without parental permission. All 50 states has laws stating their age limits for minor consent, as does the US territories and most other nations do as well. For some it's as young as 12, for some it's as old as 16. Though, sadly, some states do not allow you to have that right until you turn 18.
These laws allow you to get some health care without your parents' permission, in fact you don't have to tell them a thing if you don't want to. Though I never encourage teens to hide things from their parents, they should be open and honest, but also careful. But still, it is up to you to let your parents know if you make the choice, or if you don't want them to know, well, HIPAA law states you have that right as well.
For more information, ask your local physician, an actual physician not naturopaths or holistic healers, and ask them to help you figure out the age limit you need to be to get your shots without having to be held back. Remember teens, it really IS your choice.
In Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina,Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia, young men and women aged 12 and up can go and get their vaccinations without any parental permission or consent.
In Washington DC, the age limit is 11 years old, kids starting at 11 can get vaccinated without parental permission if they wish.
