2ºLet's put it that way-originally I am from the country of Georgia, in the former USSR. As an immigrant living in many places (which of course includes USA), I was frequently subject to real, not imaginary xenophobic attacks or discrimination. Which is part of human nature, unfortunately. And which is something everyone has to cope with at some point in their lives, this way or another.
Having said that, if someone would throw food on me in a public place, I would certainly see it as an attack, maybe motivated by xenophobia, maybe not.
But I would not care if an attacker would throw a Georgian food on me, or just plain old hamburger.
Also, I certainly would not be offended if someone would display a traditional Georgian food item to me, or would present me with some stereotype Georgian food at some social place
Now please explain again, why it is "offensive" to display bananas or watermelon to black people, or tortillas to Mexicans? I like both watermelon, and tortillas. It is insane to make racially charged symbols out of literaly everything, even food.
3ºExcellent decision made by the CIF. Coronado is 85% white, primarily Republican (though that is slooowly changing) and the median home price is 1.8 million, probably closer to 2 mil lately. The student body has less then half the number of minority students that the rest of CA does... primarily Hispanic. Does anyone find it shocking that they're raising up nasty little bigots? I don't. Diversity is low, entitlement is high. I'm betting there's a bunch of rich parents filling their drawers, trying to figure out how they can get this off their kid's scholastic records bf college submissions boards see it.

The team actually did nothing wrong, but will be punished for the actions of others. And they will be re educated to include racial and cultural sensitivity?

5ºWhen democrats not only justify violence at riots and " protests", and some even promote all that rioting, looting, burning and more with the media excusing it away for months, you teach a generation that it's ok to act like animals. What they learned under covid restrictions last year was you couldn't go to school. Hang out in groups or go to work, but if you wanted to set a fkn street on fire, gather in groups of thousands, steal everything in sight, it was ok to do. And that was followed up by democrat rich Hollywood pigs bailing out the ones that did all the violence and looting and burning.
And then everyone was told cops are evil. Treat them like trash. Don't listen to basic rules of laws.
And now people act amazed that sht like this happens. Amazed that crime has spiked over 100, 200 and 300% in many cities in this country.
When adults allow months on end of crazy behavior, and excuse it away, this is the result. And it's just getting started.

The tortilla event isn’t new in sports like or not, agree or disagree.
The person responsible for this action is of mixed race and self proclaimed Progressive. When this first happened many people blamed the Commmunity of Coronado and pushed the narrative that this only happened because the people of Coronado are Conservative. This seems to be the go to for those people always!
Take a step back listen to all the facts then if you feel you need to share your opinions do so!
7ºExcellent because you have to punish bad behavior instead of letting it flourish where they think that behavior is normal and it's abnormal and in this case extremely insulting but people keep forgetting that this country made it legal for white Americans to use racism bigotry prejudice discriminatory behavior and insensitivity so white Americans could use the law to have ridiculous behavior towards other American citizens and that mentality still permeates this country because this country doesn't teach in its school system the psychological damage that it brought to this country that still exists to this day like the mentality have a nice day
8ºIt's funny how this is not only a longstanding tradition in many places in the southwest, but in Mexico as well. Hell this exact thing happened at an international soccer game in Mexico a few weeks ago. Some of you are just out for blood for no reason other than CNN insinuated that it was racist and you're so eager to prove how not racist you are you'd suggest that these kids not only lose the title but be expelled from school, not be able to go to college? May as well bring out the firing squad but it won't appease the woke mob until everyone they ever met is ruined too. Terrible

If they threw hot dogs it's ok now... because hot dogs aren't Hispanic. If Hispanic kids throw meatballs at Italian kids? It's not ok... They would have to throw Hispanic foods or non Italian dishes to not offend race with the inappropriate food associations
10ºHa ha just like the school i used to go to year's ago. Some of the player's attacked the black kid for missing the shot. And they attacked him in the shower stall. And when his mom and dad found out they sued the school. And the school ended up losing all there championship titles. And the ladies basketball team could not be in the district basketball championship game. And the school ended up not being able to play anymore sport's after that. Where the football field used to be is now a parking lot. After that happened when we could no longer play any sport's i transferred to the other school. And i played baseball and basketball and won allot of championship games.
