Seventeen states have enacted 28 new laws making it harder to vote

The 28 total laws in 17 states mark a new record for restrictive voting laws since 2011, when the Brennan Center for Justice at the New York University School of Law recorded 19 laws enacted in 14 state legislatures.

Voting should be something that is a task. Its a HUGE deal. If you cannot take the time to vote then it really doesn't matter that much to you. It is okay if people choose not to vote. If they cannot make the time to vote then maybe the decisions they make might not be good ones as well. Voting is a right and needs to be protected. But we also need to make sure that only US Citizens get to vote or our enemies get a free hand in making our government weaker so they can take advantage of us. That is what has been happening. If you are against voter restrictions of some kinds then you should have no problem if foreign country hack into our computers. Because allowing anyone who shows up to vote you are doing the same thing.

This is the real cancel culture you should be worried about.

Banning extended voting hours, closing polling places in minority neighborhoods. Prohibiting giving water to voters who are forced to wait 6 hours or more on line to vote, severely restricting mail ballot drop boxes, allowing right-wing groups to challenge the eligibility of an unlimited number of voters, giving the GOP-controlled legislatures sweeping new powers over election administration.... JIM CROW is back.

Even though there is no evidence of voter fraud. We had an election that was amazing in the midst of a pandemic. And instead of applauding themselves for it, Republicans know they can never win without making it harder, not easier to vote.
