1ºIf you weren’t outraged about Brock Turner’s sentencing. You certainly shouldn’t have any outrage about this. Cosby served more time that Brock Turner ever did, or will. And Brock Turner wasn’t super wealthy. Just a young, affluent, white kid.
With that said, no one should take issue with civil rights being upheld. Due process is a right we all enjoy and it isn’t only for the wealthy. Yes, you might call this a “technicality” but they aren’t saying he wasn’t guilty. They said it ever should have been brought to trial in the first place.
As a survivor of sexual assault, I certainly would not have wanted my abuser to get off because of prosecutorial misconduct, or a violation of abuser’s civil rights. But I also would not want prosecutors to go to such extremes to jeopardize my case either.
Be angry at those who didn’t do the right thing, not those who made sure Cosby’s civil rights were upheld.

4ºReally wish the opinions of the dissenters on the PA Supreme Court were acknowledged which were:
1) The promise of DA Castor (later a lawyer for Trump during his 2d impeachment) was blatantly illegal such that no defendant represented by counsel could have reasonably relied upon it and that Cosby had every right to and could have taken the 5th at his civil deposition
2) Even if an “equitable estoppel” is found to exist to where Cosby reasonably relied on the promise of a govt official to his detriment, the remedy is not what amounts to an unqualified pardon, but an exclusion of the evidence obtained as a result-the depo testimony-at any retrial.
All in all a grotesque miscarriage of justice that should be reviewed by the US Supreme Court if there is any basis for it to do so
