1ºFor sure that man is right to run away. The suffering and torture in Uganda is unbearable. Many more people are dying of hunger than Covid-19. I really feel bad. Even yesterday but one people collapsed and died of hunger in my village and the government is paying a deaf ear. People lack what to eat since most of them are only paid after working so in this lockdown they aren't earning so they have to suffer to make ends meet. In my village many are struggling to get what to eat, so have even began eating on rubbish pits. Instead of buying vaccines and food for citizens so that they can vaccinate people who are healthy, they just buy double cabin cars to Transport their family members. There is alot of embezzlement of funds so the system in too rotten. Abductions are the order of day and killing civilians has become normal. When you demonstrate peaceful, they capture you, torture you and in fact your family might not see you again. They force people to accept committing crimes they have never committed through torture. Rigging of elections is the order of the day. For sure I think that weight lifter has seen and suffered enough in his own country that's why he couldn't wish to come back and face what we are facing here in Uganda.
2ºThat dude is a lazy idiot....we have plenty of fertile land in Uganda....he is not alone, there are many other misinformed chaps who want live lavish life without hard-work, they will continue to die of thirst in deserts and or drawn in Mediterranean sea as they try crossing to Europe. Idiot! The other problem is those who make it to overseas, they live miserable lives but keep silent, instead they post fake photos on social media that unfortunately encourages more to attempt weired journeys. The amount most of them use to drawn in the seas can be enough capital to start a good business back home. Sad!!!!

Anyway to the government of Japan, it is your luck to have one of our best players disappearing within your country and actually wanting to work over there so be kind and employ him with hopes that he will also play for Japan in the next Olympic Games which is an added advantage indeed. But as a concerned Ugandan citizen, we may also need to lick our fingers in case he lands a juicy opportunity over there of course. We shall send you a revenue collection account for our government to also benefit

For MANY people live in africa ain't easy, the government is very evil and don't care about. Price of commodities are on the hike daily. The ordinary man is finding it difficult to survive.
If you live in africa you will understand.
Though i don't support what the slave masters did BUT if the slave masters are to come again in africa, many africans will volunteer to be taken to either europe or america. It's not easy.
I just wish he can find good folks over there in Japan that won't turn him in to the police. Dude found an opportunity and never misused it and i hope it favours him.
Will also do the same if I'm to represent my nation, everyone just wants to live the country.
5ºMuseveni should free Uganda, its clear the country is like still colonized by one M7. If an athlete can vanish like this what of village families in Uganda. This is highest level of poverty and its on the poor presidency .....patriotism is good but it will be good for nothing to a country that has nothing to offer to its citizens, the nature of Uganda cannot allow humanity patriotism, no democracy, no economic development, no bill of rights. The country is like one man show and family property, all government machinery belongs to one family this 21century. 6ºCNN MEMBERS AND NEWS FOLLOWERS: I have something for you, no one would wish his or her child to grow up in a poorest country on the planet like Uganda. because it's full of all sorts of suffering. in this country, there's no peace, no democracy, no jobs, no basic medicine for sick people, no good health centres and services, high taxation almost on everything used by minorities. so in Uganda there's no hope for poor people, especially youth! the government led by Bandits like Yoweeri Museeveni instead of securing the future of the youths, is turn out by deploying army and police to kill it's minorities including children like North korea.therefore, that guy was right to flee his country.and I wish him the best!
7ºIt is very sad that my Nation the USA while allowing 1 million legal immigrants to enter each year , the hundreds of thousands of illegals that sneak in each year from our southern border overwhelm us so that the deserving of Africa , Asia , the Caribbean have little chance of all the opportunity & freedom that we offer despite what nasty things you may hear from the leftist media . Our current President has opened the floodgates once again to illegals which the bleeding heart liberal thinks is great , not knowing the harm is does to those who are not so lucky as to be able to simply walk in via our porous borders . May this man find the peace and opportunity to better himself that all deserve. After travelling the World including Africa I can attest that the poorest man in the USA lives like a KING compared to the poorest in AFRICA ( which by the way is a wonderful yet tragic place , mainly due to Colonialism that destroyed societies ) who have only malaria and hunger.
8ºYour in the wrong country to try to make that move... No Asian country will ever grant an African/black or outsider asylum.... They keep track and count all the tourist coming in and out... Especially Japan...there ars cases of Philippinos working their for decades and never got residency only work permit they have to check with immigration all the time... If Philippinos who are Asian can't get even residency imagen you! I had a friend in China as a professor with all the paper work correct and work contract from Spain they woke him up at midnight just to check his documents.... People that marry to one can never even have nationality... You know how hard it is for even residency... Should of done that in Canada, Sweden or something...
