Three opioid distributors settle New York lawsuit for $1.1 billion

Three opioid distributors have settled a lawsuit with New York state to the tune of over $1 billion, according to the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James

1ºI've never heard of ANYONE dying of overdose on marijuana, stealing for marijuana, or beating someone while intoxicated on marijuana. These opioids which are very addictive drugs has caused people so much pain and death then Marijuana EVER WILL. My opinion the settlement should have been in the Trillions. Some that are addicted to opioids SOME do recover but, I put part of the blame on these doctors. Some will jerk the carpet out from a person hooked on these drugs causing the person to turn to street drugs such as Heroin. There is alot off blame to go around on "The Opioid Crisis" this country has.
