So, the Saudis are scared of the rising tide of popular mobilization and Shiite mobilization; they are scared by their loss of control over the oil market and what that is forcing them to do domestically; they are scared by the spillover from the region’s civil wars and the costs that they are being forced to bear to try to prevent that spillover from affecting them; and they are scared that we are abandoning them for Iran. The Saudis’ world, in other words, is pretty scary. And their modus operandi today is the same as it always has been: to lash out to try to beat back the threats that they see and regain control of their circumstances. Hence their stunning intervention in Yemen, their constant escalation in Syria, and now this latest flare-up with Iran.
2ºYou should first ask what the hell the US government wants to interfere in other parts of the world, supports dictators and corruption, launches wars overseas to take the oil, kill people with no regrets and no apologies, does the devil's job and pretends to be an angel.
US wants people's brains and money to be invested in its land. It's the minimum obligation to pay them respect, i.e. respect their faith and culture.
Muslims in the US haven't invaded its lands, nor went their with troops. They came with a visa. Whereas, the US attacked lands and killed people in different parts of the world with no visas.
So it's absolutely ridiculous to pretend that Muslims have done the US any harm. And what this lady is seeking is part of her right being a US citizen. She's after the right to be respected as a citizen and protected as well. But in doing so, she's not compensating for the terrible damage the US policy has done to the world
3ºOk, so as a congresswoman from MN, why is she worrying herself with issues in Myanmar and Tibet instead of doing her job and focusing on the constituents in her district?
Why is she willing to spend the money of US taxpayers to track the activities of people living in other countries?
Why is she being one sided in this deal? If she wants to study hate crimes against Muslims in New Zealand, why is she not calling to study hate crimes against Christians by Muslims in other countries? Against Jews in Iran, against the Yazidis in Iraq? Against gays in Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and other places.
The simple fact is that if you want to stop hate crimes against Muslims, the Muslims first have to stop committing hate crimes against any non Muslim that strike their fancy.
The simple fact is that this woman needs to understand that as a congresswoman, her loyalties are supposed to lie with her constituents...she is supposed to occupy her time looking out for their well being. Not people of any religion on the other side of the planet.
4ºInstead of pushing the Islamic agenda of religeous laws dominating state laws onto the western world, this woman better focus on educating women in Islamic countries, fight for equal rights between women and men in Islamic countries, en fight for democracy in Islamic countries.
In these aspects the Islamic world has a long way to go compared to what the western world has already achieved many hundreds of years ago.
So by talking about fighting islamofobic, this woman is actually saying that the western world has to put back the clock 500 years ago in order to live to the standards that she believes in ?
This woman better gets a wake-up call and starts working on educating women in the Islamic countries and starts fighting foe equal rights between men and women in Islamic countries.
5ºShe has a good point. She is trying to reveal the true face of every democratic representative in US congress.
She is trying to raise this question , why there is US special envoy to monitor and combat anti semitism and no special envoy to monitor and combat islamophobia? Why ?.
And this will raise another question, why US sanctioned and bombed the so called muslim terrorists and their funders and their supporters and is not bombing or sanctioning white supremacists and racists and their funders and their supporters ? Why ?
Why white supremacy is not considered as a terrorist ideology? Why ?
