4ºJustin Hantz. The vaccines are the best choice. Can't you get thst. Yes there are some medications that are coming online now but these are secondary and tertiary to the vaccines. Eventually in 7 to 10 years you will hundreds of new medications thst will successfully treat these viruses but not now. You and many others misunderstood the purpose of vaccines. The purpose has two functions. The primary purpose of a vaccine is to reduce the serious affects of an infection and secondary to prevent but knowing that these vaccines will not provide 100 percent protection. The Covid19 vaccines fulfill both purposes..They prevent a good percentage from getting infection but not 100 percent but 99.9 percent of the time the vaccines reduce serious affects of an infection.
5ºI feel so lucky to have made it out before the wave of the people who refuse to mask up and antivaxers I spent seven days in the hospital all I have is gratitude and gratefulness for all that cared for me 24/7 from the respiratory therapist, pulmonary, specialist, nurses, the people who made my bed and cleaned my room, served my meals, prepped my meals and checked in on me every time I used the bathroom because my oxygen levels would drop, and putting up with my attitude at times, the phlebotomist, and of course all the doctors I'm grateful that they got me well enough to go home, and the service that delivers my oxygen thank you Kaiser Permanente ,for treating me with respect and don't let me forget all the nurses, who are fearless, I asked when I first was admitted through the emergency if they were still have people come in with covid and they said yes both vaccinated and unvaccinated, I don't have to tell you the difference I'm glad that I was vaccinated and boosted, when I got home was when they just started reporting on the omicron variant in south Africa, my advice to everyone is mask up and get a pulse oximeter they only cost around 10 bucks and if you're oxygen levels drop below 90 don't waste time and go to the emergency, I had pneumonia and I thought I was circling the drain one night getting ready to call everyone and say goodbye now I'm living in fear because if I get any break through virus my chances of survival are slim but still better than not being vaccinated, I seen a couple of nurses wearing air hoods with a mask underneath, by their own choice paid out of pocket, cheapest I seen was over 1000.
