From robot soccer to speedgate, these sports of the future already exist

Thanks to artificial intelligence, robotics and other technological innovations, new high-tech sports are kicking off around the world. From robots taking the field to play soccer, to pilot-controlled drones racing one another, like humans, machines are proving to have their own competitive streak

AI really can be made real.

It's simple, you have a tube filled with fluid to operate the hydraulics of the robot. The tube has rupture sensors built into the tube. When the tube experiences damage and loses fluid, the robots AI would determine if it can continue or will it lose all of its fluid in x amount of time? Since a robot does not have the ability to repair a fluid line, the damage done to the robot would determine what it should do next, get repair right away or continue on. A system process would cause catastrophic damage to the CPU, death, when the fluid level in the tubes reaches zero. Electrical lines would have the same set up as the fluid lines. If enough electrical lines are severed and continuity of electricity reaches zero, the robot dies.

The robots actions would be primary based around keeping its fluid and continuity levels at 100% by recognizing and avoiding potential hazards that could cause zero to be reached.
