Strange how an individual who harbors dislike for a country that has given her so much, now has family, friends and democrats demanding that same country work to get her released from a Russian jail. Maybe spending some time in Russian prison will educate her on how good she actually has it in America and change her mind regarding the National Anthem and the Star Spangled Banner. How's that saying about karma go?
2ºAs someone who travels internationally I make sure Im aware of as many customs, traditions, LAWS I can of my destination. Far too often Americans think "Im a US citizen I have the right to do and say whatever I want"....as if the Constitution follows you across borders - IT DOESN'T! 3ºUS think they own this world, signing petition demanding the release for an American in another country doesn’t mean anything, Russia is an independent country with its own law, whoever breaks regardless from which country must face the justice according to that country. State department need to educate Americans who are traveling outside to another countries to follow the laws of country they visiting. On other hands this is a set up because of what is going on… well time for me to sit back eat popcorn and enjoying reruns of my favorite show on the tv. Yeah for you maybe... but I would admonish you to research what she has seen government's have done to her and her 'mother's and fathers' ... the indifference of your American experience is waaayy different than hers/ours... although I agree that I wouldn't want to live anywhere else... for you to say that, as if her experience here in the US has been as great as yours is irresponsible and shows callousness of heart... (side note: she is only a celebrity because of her tremendous talent therefore having a better experience than most blacks while she makes millions for the entity she works for)
5ºI think, that either it’s a lie, just keeping her as distraction now during their brutal attempt to take Ukraine murdering countless. OR, she did have it in her bag, and as an athlete or tourist, Russia wouldn’t care as she’s leaving, so again, “the police” do what they’re told over there. Either way, even this news wouldn’t likely get out, as we all know, just as Russians do, that Vladimir Putin controls all news. He’s basically a living version of a villain in a James Bond 007 movie, only quite real. Regardless, he definitely knows she’s in custody. Nothing passes him. He’s basically like Hitler, he’s got everyone scared so they do as their told and rat each other out. That’s what a tyrant does in a dictatorship.
