1ºJust another liberal smoke and mirrors job! Fossil fuel vehicles mine the lithium for batteries, they transport it to manufacturing plants along with other chemicals and parts needed to make the batteries. The manufacturing plant runs on electricity provided by coal/ fossil fuel power plants. The workers drive or carpool to work in fossil fuel vehicles. The manufactured EV (electric vehicle) is delivered to dealers by fossil fuel powered trucks. And ultimately when the EV’s batteries are no longer good the are dismantled and recycled at you guessed it coal/fossil fuel powered factories. When the EV technology is there and the process from start to finish is all clean energy and might actually make a difference on the environment.. call me I’ll buy two!
