Why the alcohol industry isn't being sued is bewildering.
Underage drinking is a significant public health problem in the U.S. Excessive drinking is responsible for more than 3,500 deaths and 210,000 years of potential life lost among people under age 21 each year.
Result of underage drinking; this includes about 1,900 deaths from motor vehicle crashes, 1,600 as a result of homicides, 300 from suicide, as well as hundreds from other injuries such as falls, burns, and drownings
People aged 12 to 20 years old drink 11% of all alcohol consumed in U.S.
In fact, there are an average of 6 alcohol poisoning deaths every day in the United States.

Annual health care expenditures for alcohol-related problems amount to $22.5 billion. The total cost of alcohol problems is $175.9 billion a year (compared to $114.2 billion for other drug problems and $137 billion for smoking).2

Yet my wife who suffers from Degenerative Disc Disease can't get medication to help with her pain other than OTC Tylenol by her doctor.

The opioid statistics are much less than alcohol, even smoking isn't comparable to Alcohol but the alcohol lobbyist are the biggest plutocracy players.
