If he truly wanted Ukraine he wouldn't have used this little force. He would have already taken it. He is destabilizing the region, taking over the pro russian regions and when zelensky is seen as a man who spills innocent blood (which in time will happen) he will be overthrown and a pro russian president will replace him. This will create the neutral zone between NATO and Russia, which is not a bad thing and will ensure calm in the region
2ºGiving this guy more and more weapons is definitely going to get us into nuclear war. Zelensky is the problem ,not the solution. Zelensky wants Russia to give back land they have already got. That is not going to happen with Putin in control, and so the war will go on . Russia is seeing the USA being responsible for the death of Russian soldiers now because of weapons we are giving Ukraine so from their point of view, we are the enemy, and the more we give Ukraine, the more likely it is that Russia will launch hypersonic missiles at the USA. Sad thing is we have no system to even detect an attack like this.

9ºEbrima Mboge the thing about nuclear weapons, the fact that you have them is more powerful than using them. Once you use them you don't have them anymore. And the damage they cause is sure to hit other countries who are poised to retaliate. Not to mention the nuclear fallout in your own country. Nuclear weapons could potentially end the world. That was all recognized a long time ago. That is why nuclear agreements were worked out. And that is why the possession and threat is stronger than actually using them.

10ºCourtney Campden-Main it's simple as day. If he wanted more/the whole of Ukraine he would have had it already. He used a little of the force he has. This is as you say, been thought over for a long time. He wanted to destabilize the e country in order to take what he believes is rightfully his. He sees the Ukrainian government as a sort of Taliban/rebel group that the country needs to be freed of.
What I don't understand is why you think you can speak out if you have not even read about what Putins intentions are and what his demands are for negotiations. It makes this whole conversation rather pointless. Just assuming things without reading up on it.
