But the law provided several options in such cases depending on threat to life levels: for instance the law prefers a gun owner to shoot an attacker in places that can incapacitate without killing so that the law will take up the matter, investigate and prosecute. This is to prevent anarchy. There are also instances where the law outrightly allows a gun carrier to shoot to kill in self defense if they are under attack that would have killed them. Did you ever wonder why America is the most violent nation on earth where guns are as common as the dollar? Take England for instance. Thought guns are limited there, killings are also limited. Sweden is another example of a country where killing is less and prison just a reform institute that's not puniitive. All these countries are of course smaller than America but their crime controls work better than America's

Yes showing on TV that if you break the law you are choosing your own death that Your Valet sin has consequences maybe the lowlifes will start thinking twice you noticed foreign countries and force harsh punishments such as if you steal you'll get your fingers cut off and they don't have any theft going on there's a lot of countries that don't even have the need for guns. But no hearing United States they cater to the lowlifes they break the law they go to jail no responsibility free meal you get to watch TV you get to work out in the gym that only escalates your ego and you get to go outside and play basketball where's the punishment. You don't reward bad behavior. You don't cater to their outcry where's are right because when you violate the laws you take away your rights. Perhaps if they sit in their jail spell bored out of their minds still think twice though ha no I don't want to ever come back here I'm going to get my life straightened out stead of giving them the free vacation give him an education give then a trade so that way in the long run the taxpayer doesn't have to pay for a free vacation
3ºDebra Lou Cox how can you say this. You know nothing about these people. I will do it and be proud to. I will not have a mental issue with it. I will feel I did the right thing for society. Not everyone gets PTSD like liberals do from stuff. A liberal reporter says he got PTSD from shooting an AR15. One of the most tame and quite firearms made. Not all of us are like that. I would feel as I just saved his next victims life. And I saved the taxpayers a lifetime of feeding and housing this guy.
4ºWhy don’t they just go ahead and put it on Court TV.. show the world just how people are so accepted of the death sentence and no let their children watch 3 men shot someone with a bag over their head why he’s saying his last words .... since this is such a humane thing to do. Yes he took a life but doesn’t it make more sense for him to live with those consequences in his head for the rest of his life in max security then to make it simple as 3 men that is going to suffer PSTD because they never killed someone in their life. I’m just saying ! You killing one to make 3 people murders ...
5ºSusan McCullom Barry and only idiots compare killing an innocent child in the womb to a convicted murderer! The child did nothing to deserve being put to death while the murderer chose to kill someone knowing what the consequences might be. Yesterday was Good Friday, maybe you need to read your Bible and see what Good Friday is. Spoiler alert… on Good Friday an innocent man was sentenced to death much like the millions of babies that did nothing to deserve their sentence, this guy is not innocent and deserves to die for taking another innocent person’s life. See how that works?
6ºHannah Jones As much as I hate to sound self righteous, Jesus forgives but you do have to repent as well. If he was remorseful after all those years and willing to repent then he at least has a chance of escaping a much worse fate than prison after he dies. Believe it or not, not everyone is remorseful or gives a second thought to the people they hurt or kill. Jeffrey Dahmer used to gloat about the way he killed his victims while he was in prison before he died. He didn't care and was proud of his work. You think there was anything else that was waiting for him on the other side other than eternal damnation?
7ºWhy the fuss about this. The only problem I have is sometimes the actions people engage in that end them up in this situation can't be seen to be the only fault of theirs. Society must accept the blame too and make sure that the even the level playing field for people to always want to make the right choices most of the time. To bad this inmate had to make the bad choice to land in this predicament. I guess he has accepted the consequences of his actions and has made peace with it. What a crazy world we live in.
8ºJo Jo lol it’s not a deterrent though… statistics show there was actually more crime in the states that had high profile pending executions. By your logic that should be the time of the lowest crime bc it is all over the TV and social media. It’s not bc criminals are not deterred by people who got caught…. #1- most murders are crimes of passion so folk aren’t weighing pros and cons…. #2- those that are not such as serial killers etc…. Either don’t care if they get caught or don’t believe they will get caught. Thus, this is only deterring those of us that wouldn’t commit it anyway.
9ºThomas M Hatter simply puts, a good guy is a person who is not a criminal, a person who obey the law and I'd not violent while a bad guy is the opposite. There is however a better way of dealing with the bad guy than by just having guns and blowing them away. This way is determined the extent of their crime and intention and threat levels .....a real good guy cannot kill someone they assume is bad simply because the assumed bad guy invaded their home unarmed. In robberies and kidnappings the law will prefer that the good guy shoots where they can incapacitate the robber or kidnapper. The law can take over if bad guys are incapacitated but where a good guy kills the bad, the law must also investigate the good guy regardless of the circumstances just to be sure
10ºThe death penalty should not be used in cases like this. The death penalty should only be used in cases like Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy. Serial killers, people who did horrific acts to their victims by torturing them before they kill them.
It should be reserved for the worst of society. But only if there is absolutely no inclination of a mistaken identity. Better be truly sure or you’re killing an innocent person. 
This man? Is not the worst of society. Death by firing squad? This is completely inhumane. Having him choose his method of death Is inhumane
