If you were right then the boneheads in this administration wouldn’t be now saying they are reopening the land leases they shutdown last Jan and Feb that caused this. They are admitting they are the cause. You cannot shutdown oil land leases and not think they will not cut supply. Gas was $1.85 a gal the day Biden took office. It was up to $2.30 the first week he was in office. And it’s been climbing ever since. Now they are up 40% the highest in American history. They got as low as $1.26 a gal in my town under Trump. They averaged $1.45 the whole time Trump was president in my town. They never got above $1.85 I’m his four years. When you close two pipelines in your first week, then shutdown federal land leases then you shutdown offshore land leases then you go after the banks that finance the oil and gas industry this is what you get. And Biden has cabinet members on record saying this is exactly what they want. For the American citizens to feel the hurt to force them to electric cars and solar and wind. This is by design. Let gas get to $7 before the election. It will guarantee a republican sweep in the midterms. Obama lost the most party seats in his first midterm then any president in history. Trump lost the least. Biden will break Obama record.

This is why the Biden administration said last week they are now going to REVERSE THEIR policies they enacted on oil and reopen the land leases they closed down. They know they caused this. Not to mention they have been looking to close a third pipeline from Canada to Michigan. You never saw Trump BEGGING opec or the Saudi’s or the dictator in Venezuela to pump oil for us. And by the way. Biden is still buying oil from Putin. At $200 million a DAY! He is helping Putin to fund the Ukrainian invasion as is ALL of Europe. See his “sanctions” don’t kick in for 3 MORE MONTHS!! So when he lies and try’s to blame Putin for our oil prices he created. That’s BS too. And ALL of our allies from Japan to India to Britain to France, Poland and Germany and others are still going to but ALL their natural gas and oil from PUTIN. They Pay Putin over $100 billion a day combined for their energy. Putin is not being hurt financially at all.

As for gas prices being Biden’s fault, no. They are up world wide. The Oil Corps Profits were down during Pandemic Lockdowns etc, so they’re inflating to get projected profits.

5ºRebecca Furniss we WERE exporting. And IMPORTING! But see when you pump your own and do not have to buy from foreign countries YOU control the price and production in those foreign countries. But when you stop producing and exporting and you HAVE to buy from foreign countries THEY control the supply and the price. I am betting you have never owned a business. You clearly are clueless on how this works. Right now Saudi Arabia won’t even take Biden’s phone calls, OPEC told Biden they will not bump up production. The Saudi’s are making commercials mocking Biden and Harris. When you are DEPENDENT on others they own you. That’s why democrats try to keep citizens poor and poorly educated. So they are dependent on them. You should always be independent. As a person and a country. We should not have insulin and other medications made in communist china. We should be 100% independent.
