The Baltimore Police Department is planning to become one of the first law enforcement agencies in the country to hire civilians as investigators in its detective force.

Good idea. It makes the point that a large group of citizens has wearied of the antics of the other ones. Often witness the full dynamic of what is being done in a neighborhood. The group manifesting is not the control group and often do not have enough power unless given permission by the dominant group. To make it stop you have to get rid of the managers. As Baytown local business says we have been FORCED to raise our prices and we do not mean supply chain. Usually associated with the base side of an industry moving in an area.

Umm hell no privatized for profit prizions are corrupt enough. The legal system needs a major overhaul, the private detective is a thing already no need for corrupt for profit investigators who dont get all the picture due their civilians nope no way. Defund the police, force them to hand over all consficated proceeds, excess jail food money no more sherif pocketing the rest every year, stop wasting tax money on the latest vehicles and use that to put more cops on the street and ban cops having guns make it like england they have to call in for someone trained and not a triggure happy murderer, yes cops all to well do know the bad cops itd be wrong believing otherwise when they all know whos the drug dealers in their towns no excusses also ban the fop and other like it and make them go to a court. Demilitarise the police if its that bad they have a swat team and national guard. We arent a third world country where the military is the police and they wont make us used to cops in military get up.

I think the means to deter frequent crimes in American society are the removal of guns and the need for investigative agencies other than the existing police force. For example, it is under the jurisdiction of the FBI for all murders and drug crimes, which inevitably has to be scaled up. Of course, it has been such a trend in American society for some time, but if it is a general fact that the hurdles for becoming an FBI agent are too high and it is difficult to secure personnel, the United States I think the government needs to boldly change its mindset. For example, the FBI has jurisdiction over existing police and sheriffs. The US government should consider positively. Amen
