1ºWilliam D Lewis If you’ve ever been down on the banks of the Mississippi River in New Orleans you would’ve seen why. The currents, depth as width of that river is scary. Once Those poor children went under and not come back up it’s pretty much impossible to find the body’s unless they had a life Jacket on. I remember being told by a Tug boat captain that wearing a life jacket would not keep you alive once you fell into that river, but would cause your body to eventually float to the surface giving better odds at authorities finding your body.
