The body of a missing 15-year-old boy was recovered from the Mississippi River

It comes one week after the Coast Guard said it would suspend its search for three children -- a 15-year-old boy and two girls; 14 and 8 -- who were last seen entering the river in New Orleans last month.

William D Lewis If you’ve ever been down on the banks of the Mississippi River in New Orleans you would’ve seen why. The currents, depth as width of that river is scary. Once Those poor children went under and not come back up it’s pretty much impossible to find the body’s unless they had a life Jacket on. I remember being told by a Tug boat captain that wearing a life jacket would not keep you alive once you fell into that river, but would cause your body to eventually float to the surface giving better odds at authorities finding your body.
