Law enforcement officials in Washington, DC, are bracing for potential security risks posed by reactions to the leaked draft Supreme Court majority opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade

Jenna Terranova-Frisby defend the fact that 12-16 weeks as a cutoff for abortion with the exception of serious medical concerns for the mother isn't enough time to make a decision. Makes all your arguments moot. In addition why doesnt the father have a say or the option to not be financially responsible if he doesn't want the child and she decides to keep it.
When you look at, it comes down to control issue for women and that's it.
Not against abortion but against the idea that a baby can be killed after 4 months in the womb for the sole reason of just because.

Tammy Purvis funny thing is that abortion isn’t a constitutional right. It wasn’t even a codified law. That’s why the court issued an opinion. When they implemented thr Roe v Wade decision it was based on that court’s interpretation of the constitution and issue the opinion. Opinions change based new factors or revelation of what the Constitution says. There is literally not one spot that gives women a license to kill their unborn children. Therefor it should be a state issue because state constitutions can reflect that respectively. The only reason the left is upset about this is because they can’t control SCOTUS as an alternate form of the legislative branch, which it is not. They are only there to interpret the law, not make it.

Trump saying let your voices be heard but march peacefully to the capital and then it turning into a protest, instead, i(where people mostly took selfies), is to liberals the end of the world and somehow Trump is guilty of encouraging a “riot.“ But Joe Biden’s Press secretary saying the Whitehouse’s position is that it supports and won’t try to stop “peaceful“ protests in front of the personal homes of Supreme Court justices is perfectly fine, regardless of if things could turn dangerous. You are such hypocrites. If anything turns violent, then the White House encouraged it, and did nothing to prevent it by showing support for the protests just as Donald Trump showed support for what he insisted should be a peaceful gathering.

Sean Permann You said the Supreme Court doesn’t make law.

Obviously they do. Those “trigger” laws go into effect when this is enacted. So the Supreme Court DOES make laws. Maybe not directly but the effect is the same.

Where is mens accountability? There are birth control pills for men! Rubbers.

All these rules are made for women but NOTHING for the supposed “fathers”.

If there was ONE piece of legislation that forces child support at conception from the father I would CONSIDER that these legislations are not uterus control. NOTHING exists.

This is nothing but you men controlling women.

Jennie Melin If put to a vote by the state ,you know if they over turn Roe, ppl will most likely vote not to ban abortion. I understand who makes the laws and also learned how to read in elementary school which obviously you and many others did not because the article is about how anti-abortion groups call for violence against pro-abortion groups not about all the arguments you ppl are carrying on about. Your comprehension of my statement is not my responsibility and if you aren't smart enough to understand my comment that's your issue not mine. You keep repeating the same statement as if I don't know who makes the laws. I saw it the first time, understood it, but ignored it much like you should have done to mine. Thanks for the information I ALREADY KNEW. GEEZ

Tammy Harrison I don’t know you to know whether I like you or not. I definitely don’t like your views on abortion but I’m open minded enough to know a person’s view on one subject doesn’t disqualify them from being likable.

If you think banning abortions will stop abortions or save more lives you’d be wrong. As long as pregnancy exists, so will abortion. You know what does reduce abortions? Greater access to free, long lasting birth control, comprehensive sexual education, programs that help curb sexual abuse and domestic violence, living wages, free/reduced childcare, paid maternity leave and universal healthcare.

Patricia Lamb Huh that's a bit more reasonable limit than 6 weeks, considering most women don't find out until about that time. Scientifically there is no logical reason you shouldn't be allowed for a few weeks beyond 15 weeks. You see 21 often in states. In my personal opinion if you go beyond that time frame, the only reason should be some medical anomaly, which there are some that legitimately should be allowed all the way up to birth time. Like there is some defect that can happen with babies that is hard to detect or doesn't happen until they are further along and the child is not really there and it will just have a month or two of an excruciatingly painful existence that the parents will have to watch and be traumatized by until they die, which is 99.9%, maybe 100% sure to die from. These religious extremist politicians don't bother to learn these medical issues (this is why people stress that it should be between a woman and her doctor) when they make their little laws and refuse to listen to doctors who speak on behalf of those bills.

Heather Howard the Supreme Court is NOT supposed to make decisions based on what the majority wants. They are not an elected legislative body that represents a group of people They are to base their decisions solely on what is legal according to the Constitution. They are ruling that the Constitution says that jurisdiction for this matter belongs at the State level, not with the federal government. People who don't like what their state legislature decides can fight it at the level, and through state elections. They do not have the right to demand that all states be the same just so they can take the lazy way out.

Sean Permannthere hasn't been a solid argument by pro lifers either. Birth Control is not 100 percent, for starters so that blows your defense out of the water. Two, there are many abortions happening today pro lifers have no defense when asked how today's abortions affected pro-lifers health, money, security, employment. You cant defend the simple fact that it's none of your business. Do you ask your neighbors what goes on in their bedroom? Third, pro lifers are often pro capital punishment and hide behind the defense that the criminals who killed deserve to die. Who are you to play God? Remember that killer was once an innocent fetus that was brought into the world without love and support and was likely abused and turned to a life of crime. How convenient to forget that.
