Just because we have established laws (like every other country in the world) that regulates immigration through a legal process doesn’t mean immigration isn’t welcomed (again we let more immigrants in than any other country in the world). We have had a million deaths from Covid here in the US and millions more around the world. Without government stepping in, more people would die. Definitely, they are not afraid to be turned away from following the truth and you will not be able to do so until you make the kingdom of the whole universe pass through the eye of a needle, and even if you could do so to avert them they would not have changed in the least.
