1ºMatt Willard, I'm a female with breasts and 2 kids. I breastfed both of mine until I couldn't. With my daughter, my milk supply dried up 2 weeks after having her, though I was breastfeeding her regularly. My son, I had to stop breastfeeding because it was taking a toll on my health and wellbeing. Each time he'd eat, he'd drink both books dry. He did this to the point one of my milk ducts in my right breasts, popped and blood mixed in with the milk.
Some of us don't have a choice but to use formula. Unfortunately. Yes, breasts are for feeding babies. I wish more people would see that. But, since baby formula is available, a lot of women turn to formula feeding because it's easier and less hassle.
2ºDISGRACEFUL THIS IS HAPPENING IN THE USA. WHY ARE WE BUYING BABY FORMULA FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES ??? … JUST LIKE WE ARE BUYING OIL FROM RUSSIA ,IRAN AND VENEZUELA INSTEAD OF PRODUCING OUR OWN .

The FDA enforced a recall of Similac in Feb 2022 , ( after knowing the formula was contaminated with bacteria in Sept. 2021 and doing nothing for 4 months) , which caused the closing of 1 plant at Abbott, and NO ONE , not the FDA , not ABBOTT and certainly not the Biden Adm did a thing about increasing production in other plants , and other companies. THE USA CAN'T CONTINUE UNDER THIS CORRUPT , INEPT , DEMOCRAT ADMINISTRATION AND THE TOTAL MISMANAGEMENT AND DESTRUCTION OF OUR ECONOMIC SYSTEM IT'S CAUSING..
3ºJonathan Kassad when you say "it's on Abbott to get things in order" yes that's exactly what you are saying. Abbott can't go back into production without FDA approval, and they admitted yesterday they dropped the ball because some paper-pusher didn't get the documents for months and nobody at the FDA followed up on it. Republicans don't have enough votes to influence the actions by this administration and congress at the last minute getting formula shipped. Anything the admin did this week could and should have happened at the first sign of a problem. Biden can't manage Plan A on much of his responsibilities and Plan B is always to blame somebody else. Americans are over it.
4ºJust shows the employees are slobs and pigs, they cannot perform 2 or more task at the same time, such as cleaning up after themselves while working in the kitchen. I am sure if anyone went into any restaurant right this minute or even during busy times they see the same conditions as the employee cook people foods. Does not mean they don't have a clean up grew that cleans up after closing time.
Sound like the inspector is a narcissist and had a power trip of authority to suspend all activities unstill they test the product for any bacteria that may have contaminated the baby formula.
5ºDiane Olsvanisk Without those government regulations they would be shipping spoiled and contaminated formula everyday. Those standards are minimum standards and typically a company will try to maintain those standards, but may not generally try to exceed them because that is pumping more “cost” into the product. If you drive by these plants, they are all flying their QS flags saying they met the the qualifications for having processes and procedures in place and have trained employees in how to maintain quality and how to recover from a quality spill. Which means, when the inspectors go away, the processes and procedures they have sworn to protect apparently go out the window.

Bill Gates bough up tons of farms just to let the crops die. Tons of food packaging plants went up in flames. Baby formula shortage. Gas prices soaring. Food prices soaring. Biden voted against the $28 billion for the border wall to keep our borders safe, but sends $60+ billion to Ukraine to protect there's. Biden also sent pallets upon pallets of baby formula to the border, instead of feeding the American born babies.
