If you don't think there isn't a terrible price being paid by innocent people for 2 plus years of lockdowns, isolation, government mandates and threats, economic hardship and constant fear mongering for POLITICAL advantage, just pick up a paper or watch the news. ... Record violent crime, justifying wholesale infanticide, sexually corrupting children in government-run education institutions, criminals being released by state governors, a president and his party who refuse to secure our border and put AMERICAN CITIZENS FIRST, who blatantly pander to criminal organizations and have created economic doom ... offering zero hope for seniors on fixed income, for young working families who cannot make ends meet and their children seeing no future for themselves. This is NOW and these people running the country offer nothing but more of the same.

Stephen Eaton what does making it harder to sell guns to psychopaths who might go on killing sprees have to do with reducing the number of mass shootings in this country?
Seriously?
You're clearly looking for excuses to not do anything about mass shootings.
You literally just suggested that there's no point in trying to not sell guns to the people we KNOW are mentally ill because there are people in the world that we don't know are mentally ill.

You mentioned safety measures that have been removed. I gave you an example which was carried out by a Republican president. You responded by trying to pretend there's no point in making it harder for mentally ill people to legally buy guns. And that's why the mass murders will continue to become more common: because no matter how obviously something might be a good idea, there's always going to be some fuckwitted cultist who wants to pretend there's no point in even trying.

Did the School Resource Officer leave the entrance door unlocked when he left the school prior to the shooter's arrival? This may explain why the entrance that was supposed to be locked, was unlocked. Early police reports stated that the shooter was engaged by the School Resource Officer. Later, it was revealed that the School Resource Officer wasn't there. So where was he/she? Texas law enforcement knew the shooter was heading to the Robb Elementary School. That's how the seven officers entered the school just 4 minutes after the shooter. Was the School Resource Officer directed to unlock the entrance and leave the school?

The bottom line is that the first Officers on scene, then the on Scene Commander dropped the ball and 21 people are dead. Active shooter protocol mandates that first responders do not wait for backup and immediately engage the shooter. The first Cops on the scene did not engage. Then the OSC showrd up,, called the scene a barricade, knowing full well that there were children in the school which further delayed Police action and engagement. The Texas Rangers are sugar coating the truth and not putting blame squarely where it belongs. That OSC should be relieved of duty and terminated.

LJ Foltz no, you haven't been there and done this.
If you think that people shouldn't be telling cops what they should have done, you're nothing but a hypocrite when you come here and tell everyone who isn't a cop what they should have done.
Pathetic.
The truth is that having cops present did nothing to protect those children. The truth is, you're too gutless to accept that fact and too much of a bootlicker to criticize cops who just let nearly two dozen children be murdered because of nothing other than their cowardice.
If you think everyone should zip it up, how about you set a good example and go first? Or is this another one of those instances of your complete hypocrisy?

Stev Taylor the bill didn’t change the background check.
Did reduce the age.
This shooter had a background check.

Lots of things need to be done
Ban semi automatics except in narrow circumstances.
Increase the age for purchase nationwide
Make background checks ( which are required for 65 percent of legal sales) required for all purchases including private sales.
Require a waiting period

Then secure our schools. Door unlocked goes against every protocol
Lock downs need to be immediate. This lock down didn’t happen until more 15 than minutes after the call resulting in the shooter being “locked down “ already in the school hindering police entry
Stop normalizing behavior. Criminal behavior is never ok and accountability is required. Fear of consequences ( not in this instance this guy knew he was going to die) but every day on our streets. Fear of authority is healthy
This guy posted pictures of his guns and ammo and 940 commented and not one reported it
Stop normalizing the behavior
Stop celebrating criminal culture. Soooo much to do and all sides own it

If the School Resource Officer was directed to unlock the entrance and leave the Robb Elementary School, who directed and why? My understanding is the Robb Elementary School is a public school. It's part of the Uvalde, Texas Consolidated Independent School District. What exactly does that mean? Is it independent from the Texas Republican government's conversion/destruction of public schools into private schools? (Tennesseans should play close attention to this.) Uvalde is mostly a Hispanic community. Did Texas law enforcement delay their intervention, allowing the shooter to kill his victims, so the Texas Republican government can get rid of a public school? Small communities, such as Uvalde, are usually tight knit. I bet the community's support for their consolidated independent school district was preventing the conversion to privatization. But if a tragedy, such as a school shooting were allowed to happen, that community would likely never want their children to go back into that school. Have other schools, that suffered from a shooting, closed their doors? I bet some have. Removing another public school from the Texas education system would reduce costs, such as maintenance and upkeep. Then the savings could be diverted to the process of privatization. I wouldn't put this past any Republic government. And if they're trying to hide something like this, that would explain all the misinformation reported early on.

Warning of a sky eclipse someday.. April 26th - 2022
Quote written by Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni ahead of time:
Soon, Beijing will shut its doors, as in Shanghai, in the far east, and they will say: “Isolated barrier quarantine .” This would never benefit you of a thing at all previously, but only the quarantines benefited you at the beginning, only to stop the wheel of life to stop carbon emissions by one hundred percent to crush the global warming theory for you may believe that the cause of the rise of Allah’s war with climatic disasters is not due to the carbon of your factories in the atmosphere, as the atheists among you claim whom they deny Lord of the Worlds. Preceded applying this mission successfully at first to shatter the global warming theory of carbon in the atmosphere. Rather, in order for you to know that disasters are caused by a cosmic planet; That is the planet Saqar, coming from the south of the earth, which will obliterate the sun, the stars, and the entire sky, obscuring the view of the sky from you. That is a destructive eclipse; That is the chastisement of a destructive day before the rise of Hour, if you only knew.
