Do you realize how close our Democratic Republic was to collapsing? Trump ignored and didn’t defend our constitution at its most pressing time. Trump only cares about himself, that’s it. He didn’t do anything except for pour more gasoline on the fire. He took an oath to defend the constitution yet did NOTHING to defend our Democratic Republic. I sincerely hope you look into how close we were to losing our republic. This isn’t a partisan issue, it’s an American issue.
3ºLuke Maines that's crazy. All you people talk about is gas prices, but yet the gas station is ALWAYS FULL. Food prices yet, the grocery store is ALWAYS FULL. I haven't seen an EMPTY SHELF since March of 2020, when the mismanagement of the former guy, had everything SCREWED UP!
If the economy is so bad, WHY haven't companies STOPPED hiring, already? Why are they (companies) paying higher wages?
Yeah, pricing socks, but the only people really complaining, is the same people that don't know how to manage their income. Or that don't have a stream of income consistently.

But in reality they were just carried into the lies & the hope of the ex-president to stay in power even though he was told already by everybody he lost the election. There was “no there there”. This was per the interview of the WH Legal staff did you watch the video of the interview by the committee? You could see the seriousness & fear from the people interviewed including Ivanka. They were all fearful to be part of the sedition. Trump knew he lost but would not want to take it. The only president who just left without receiving the incoming president. Very sad. Disgraceful!!

7ºChuck Nelson I’m Republican for decades until Trump surfaced. I still do not switch parties. I believe Trump has strong affiliation with Putin based on his speech in Helsinki during G20 summit, his shaming with European Allies & his attempt for USA to get out of NATO the desire of Putin, his insistence of meeting Putin alone without any American but only Russian interpreter as if he has expertise with Russian affairs being new as President Trump is vindictive & obviously a dictator supporting & highly appreciative of people only he thought would promote his status & firing or replacing people did not agree with him. Trump should be jailed for attempting to overturn election without evidence of fraud, just promoted lies & let the proud boys do the action to appease his sore behind. Border control is another issue that needs to be controlled but the wall that’s supposed to be paid by Mexico does not work.

Now my question is during all the summer riots, National guard was always slow to be called in why no outcry on those delays but an outcry regarding the capital riot...
Remember at this point all the elected officials had been evacuated and secured so there was no danger to them.
And even if I wanted to agree with you completely and say that it was 100 wrong and should have acted sooner, that still in no way implicates him in the actual planning directly or indirectly of the capital riot.

It is the President’s responsibility to call out the National Guard against American citizens in an emergency, not Pelosi’s or any others you’ve named. Trump failed to do his duty. You may remember that Trump had no problem calling out the Guard against BLM American citizens who were not involved in any violence while demonstrating outside the WH. When it comes to using the military against your own citizens, it falls only to the President to make that decision. TRUMP FAILED! Face the facts, not the lying politicians and talking heads like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity.

First, the men that shut off the magnetic locks?...They were coordinating with security....And no, (they were never arrested)!
You think the DC police would allow bus loads of the proud boys to just drive straight to the Capital Building? Escorting them even?...
The people who did the most damage and were the most violent, especially in the beginning, while Trump was still speaking, have never been arrested.
Not one single ANTIFA member was arrested.
This is why that "committee" or whatever you want to call this circus, will not allow a single member chosen by Republicans.
If they allowed even one single dissenting voice or even one questioning voice? The whole thing falls like a house of cards.
