1ºJane Buchta the only thing that is still developing in the brain past the age of a todler is Impulse Control. Knowing your gender is part of physical and mental development of all children. Choosing to ignore that does nothing but equate that you feel children are nothing more than possessions for you to decide how they live and who they are. Which is not a very good way to view children.
Denying a trans child the basic stages of social transition is what you are actually talking about. The part where they dress how they want, go by the name that feels ok, pronoun usage. As teens they may be given hormone blockers, which are not medications restricted to only trans kids, and are 100% side effect free having no permanent impact on their physiology (or reproductive abilities since that's all people are concerned about apperently). When they are late teens 16-18, some choose to advance on to hormone replacement therapy. Throughout all of that, they recive mental health counseling. All of this is happening where more often than not the child-teen is receiving hate, bullying, sometimes even physical abuse from their peers and even extended family.
So if you think that a trans child or adult doesn't understand the ramifications of their choices, that just shows how far removed from the topic you are and have no business posting about it.

On Tuesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) launches a four-day meeting. Originally, half of it was open to the public but—after we raised the alarm against their plans—the meeting was closed to the public. At the top of the agenda is a new “Pandemic Treaty” designed to give WHO global power.
Joe Biden wants to steal freedom from Americans and grant WHO control over “public health,” which includes disease, viruses, climate change and even abortion access. This includes the approved response, treatment protocols, what and how many injections will be mandated, which Vaccine Passports are recognized and who must have them, and how nations or individuals will be punished for noncompliance. The meeting on Tuesday gets them one step closer.

Yeah. You put those two things together as if that made sense.
But did you know you were a boy before you were licenced to drive?
Because maybe you should be complaining that you have to wait until 16 to drive, but are expected to figure out whether you were a boy long before that.
A gun that can be (and has been) used to kill people requires a level of maturity that figuring out on a personal level if you're a boy or a girl does not.
It's a really dumb thing to use in an argument.

Children are not able to make such choices until they actually know what they are choosing - any doctor prepared to prescribe drugs that can radically change their lives for ever should loose their licence.
I have no interest in any religious pantomimes - can never understand circumcision (unless it’s for medical needs) or condemning an ADULT for loving and living how they choose.
So it seems that all this craziness is purely political posturing-
The world is still unable to end child poverty, starvation and sexual exploitation for millions of those less fortunate and here you are creating clients for future psychiatrist’s couches!
6ºMatt Jordan Another human cannot impose gender identity upon someone else. A person is born with it. You were born with yours I was born with mine and others are born with theirs. That’s it and it’s not anyone else’s business. These parents are supporting, loving and protecting their children from people who don’t understand that concept, are ill informed and hate. Worse, they’re having to protect them from an attempt at a state imposed judgement on how their children feel about themselves. I betcha you’d fight to the hilt if your government tried to impose that kind of judgement on you or your family.
7ºIt's hard enough for a parent to to guide a child thru this as I know. I watched as my youngest endured the constant hate directed toward him. He never really acted as a girl as even a young child. We as parents never gave it much thought then just figured we had a tomboy. Once my youngest came out and told us he never felt like a girl and didn't feel comfortable in own body. Long story went to counseling, doctors, mental health professionals. I can't imagine some government interference in the choice between child and parent after all that. I hope they win their lawsuit, sue that nazi Govenor
8ºKind of funny, you got people believing CHIP should pay for this. Where these flags come from, you got homeless children because a social perspective hijacked the social safety net. Go back to the Texas State Supreme Court. Make a determination if that Judge decided to overrule the higher court. Impeach that Judge, check to see if that judge was bribed. Use this to characterize Beto. Make commercials about homeless children in New York and California. Asked why they don’t put as much energy and compassion in caring about the children. Puts the gun ban mess and using children as props into perspective. But they intend to ignore their own.

Section 8 of this Act authorizes the government to provide rental support to low-income households. Here, the government would pay a portion of their rent to their landlords.
Through the Supplementary Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), the US federal government assists low and no-income households in food purchases.
This program, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, is administered by the US Department of Agriculture. However, the benefits are distributed by the respective state departments.
In 2018, about 40 million Americans benefited from SNAP, with over $57.1 billion spent.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)is another program also administered by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). The federal government provides financial aid to states for daily food subsidies for children and older people in daycare settings through this program.
A report on USDA’s website indicates that more than 3 million children and 100,000 older people have benefited from the program. Mentally and physically challenged adults have also gained from this program.
In America, primary and secondary education is free and compulsory. However, home-schooling is also permitted.
The government funds public schools. The majority of primary and secondary school students attend public schools, including those from high-income households.
Public schools have after-school programs. The government subsidizes after-school programs of private schools as well.
Both states and the federal government subsidized tertiary education in public institutions. They cover the bulk of the cost to run these institutions. They also provide aid to students in the form of loans and grants.
Separate legal entities provide health care services in the United States. Private individuals own and manage health facilities.
However, the government provides health insurance. A large percentage of government spending on health insurance goes to programs such as the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicaid, Veterans Health Administration, and Medicare.
Medicaid provides health coverage to low-income families. Both states and the federal government provide funding for Medicaid. However, state governments manage the program.
US citizens and legal permanent residents are the primary beneficiaries of this program.
CHIP is administered by the US Department of Health and Human Services. CHIP provides health insurance to states for families with children. Families covered are those with modest incomes whose income range does not qualify for Medicaid.
The Veterans Health Administration is a health care program that caters to Veterans. The federal government entirely runs this program, including the facilities. There’s no private sector participation at all.
Some programs exist to provide financial support to low-income families, disabled or aged people.
The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Temporal Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) are typical examples.
SSI program provides financial aid to low-income individuals who are physically challenged or aged (65 years or older).
TANF provides financial assistance to low-income families who have dependent children.
