1ºWhen the Prophet ﷺ started his mission in Makkah, he faced a lot of opposition. He had to suffer bad behaviour at the hands of his people. But the Prophet never reacted angrily against them. The Prophet's behaviour was generous and forgiving. This helped in turning his bitter opponents into his friends. When we return bad behaviour with goodness, that wins over the other person. If you take revenge or try to teach a lesson to others, the matter will become worse. If we want revenge, that turns our society into a jungle of hatred. But the way of large-heartedness promotes compassion between people. It puts an end to enmity and rivalry. — Maulana Wahiduddin Khan
