It's a good scheme ... previously also there existed a boy entry for 15.5 to 16.5 years, and they were released after 10 yrs. of service..without pension and nobody ever objected it, even though they use to retired at the age of arround 28 yrs. I joined as a Navy Boy in 1971....After retirement of Agni Veer at an early age of about 21 to 24 yrs. There are many option ... secondly they will be paid 11.7 Lac on release plus their saving .. which will come around 28 Lac...they will have enough to start a new career with lots of experience.
