This chart is nonsense. I live in Cochise County, Arizona.
We had a very lush, green summer last season due to our above average monsoon season. Everything grew higher and greener than usual. As result, It still remains green. Therefore, we are not having a drought.
Furthermore, I can confirm this based on seeing waterfalls and creeks that are higher than above average.
We are about to enter this years monsoon season. Therefore, everything will be replenished even if there was a drought.
Overall, this is nothing more than the national media exploiting our lack of knowledge of regional climate because of the publics dissociation from knowing the truth. More specifically, the media can do this because someone in the suburbs or populated cities are far away from the proposed draught regions.
It’s all an effort to push climate agenda to areas that listen to CNN’s propaganda.
