3ºPatricia Trout yup! Back to pointing fingers away from trump with no proof. The chaos at the border? Check out your facts…the zero policy was set to expire this year and Biden did not want to extend it, but a judge said it was to stay in place. The mishandling of the pandemic by trump left us with businesses closing, people passing away, not enough workers on docks, oil companies cutting production (under trumps advisement) causing oil prices to soar. Bad trade deals with Canada and Mexico cut our supplies. High tariffs on imports caused rising prices for us. Trump inherited a rising economy, low gas prices, stable stock market, us United with other countries to solve world problems, a stable Iran. And what did he do with all that? He ran us like one of his failed businesses, not as a country of people with needs
4ºI would love to see Trump, Guliani, even Tucker Carlson, Mike Lindell, etc all these republican nut jobs testify. It would be so easy to pick all the holes in their claims. First question to Trump "what information, or individual led you to determine beyond a shadow of a doubt the election was stollen?" It would be so easy. Trump is a coward and never testifies and that goes for all of Trump's conspiracy theorist. If they themselves had strong counter arguments they would do anything it takes to testify. The committee has invited them on national television and no one is showing up. That's bc they will get destroyed if they show up. Their conspiracies are easily proven false. 5ºJohn Padgett The riots you refer to cannot be compared to January 6th. First off, they happened at local, city/state level, not federal, and are a local issue, which a lot of people have been arrested. There wasn't any federal investigation naturally, it wasn't a federal issue, so naturally Congress would not investigate. No one is going after trump, they are going after what caused the events of January 6th which was an attack on the Capitol building, during a joint session of Congress (with the VP in attendance) while Congress was performing a Constitutionally mandated process of certifying a legal election. They broke into the building, threatened to hang Mike Pence (shouting hang Mike Pence is a threat and definitely is one when they brought a gallows). The bulk of the evidence uncovered is pointing directly at trump. Yes this is extremely important and needs to be investigated until everything is uncovered.

As far as spending, the last republican president to balance the budget was DD Eisenhower in '56 and '57. The last democrat was Bill Clinton, who balanced the budget in '98,'99. 2000. and 2001. GW Bush was president in 2001, his first year, but they were working with Clintons budget. Clinton also left budget surpluses. No other president has come close to a balanced budget, including trump, who had some of the highest deficits in just 4 years. Biden's been in office 17 months. I'm willing to see how things shake out.
