In MY STATE, anyone convicted of domestic violence is a prohibited person, regardless of whether they have a live in partner or are single and living alone! Every state I'm aware of already has prohibitions against domestic abusers the same as mine.
Domestic violence is a crime that is punishable by up to 1 yr in prison, in the states I'm familiar with, which also makes you a prohibited person under federal law on form 4473.
In other words, nothing is changed when it comes to domestic abusers being prohibited, as they should be, but you get the good feels from thinking there's been some loophole that's closed.
This law won't change anything, and since criminals don't follow laws it's pretty much useless, although red flag laws as they work now are unconstitutional and will eventually come before SCOTUS.

and 2 months. All three of our children were planned. We both had a high school education and
our children were born in the 60s and one in the
very early 70s. Even then we knew how to prevent
pregnancy. Why would someone carry a child for
5 to 9 months and then cut up a living child in the
womb. The only good thing I can think,,can come
from an abortion, is that child will spend eternity in
the presence of the living God, because it has not
reached the age of accountability. The same can’t
be said for the mother, she is accountable for the
choices she makes. The main choice we all need
to make is to put our faith in the death, burial, and
resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
He shed His blood for that purpose, so that the
vilest sinner can be born again, and spend all
eternity with Him. It’s our.choice to make.
3ºJames Pithie I would not leave my gun sitting on my bedside, but like I said my children would never grab a gun because they are taught gun safety, these kids that bring guns to their school and carry them illegally, have parents that have no responsibility for their own guns, one mom literally leaves her gun sitting out on the table or in her purse that's within reach, I keep my things put away and I don't know what else to tell you, you obviously don't own a gun and you have no idea what you're talking about so I'm not going to argue with you LOL
4ºJames Pithie my husband and I practice getting into our safe a few times a year. we practice intruder drills with our toddler. it takes me 11.5 seconds to get into the safe load my AR and have it ready, about 20 seconds if I'm not in the room. We have cameras around the house and hard to get into doors.
But realistically you obviously would go for the gun that's not locked up. Like there's no reason to have my hunting rifle out in the open, it would literally blow a hole through three people at once. But an AR-15 or a shotgun or a pistol is a good gun to have at your bedside, hanging on a wall or within easy reach, like for me like I said it takes me less than 12 seconds to get to the safe it would take an intruder at least five to ten minutes to break down our door and get in our house.

6ºYou know with the world The Way it is what frightens me the most is for the first time in America's history our country looks weak in the eyes of other countries. though it being unlikely if other major Powers decided for the first time that they were going to attack the United States of America than the one thing that my founding fathers gave me to protect myself from such invasion is now being taken away. I along with others in my city would not be able to form a militia with enough firepower to help keep our city safe. people say no way no one would ever attack the United States. I'm sure that's what all the other countries thought until they were walking to the train. it's truly saddening that 10 people a year snap and do these atrocities but these 10 people should not be the reason I lose my constitutional right to protect myself in case I need to. we all have this right for each other to protect each other and we're going to give it up over 10 people a year that for some reason we cannot stop

They’d actually rather hear lies that they want to hear. This is how Republican politicians use wedge issues to get people to vote against their own interest.
