This is another reason why people need to get out and vote blue in November. Republicans will NEVER pass responsible gun reforms. They are content with just "sending thoughts and prayers" as more people are murdered, more children are orphaned and more families are destroyed.

We need a ban on assault rifles, in-depth background checks, tough red flag laws and no sales of firearms of any kind to anyone under the age of 21. There is only one party pushing for this and that is the Democrats. So when it comes times to cast your ballot, vote for the people actually trying to fix the situation, vote Blue, because all of our lives depend on it.

Vote Blue in November!!!

David Zoeller Never said anything about any PLAN either . YOU CLEARLY CANNOT READ. I GAVE SUGGESTIONS ON COMMON SENSE LAWS THAT WOULD HAVE PREVENTED SOME OF THE MASS MURDERS.. . Why do you lock your doors at night? If a criminal wanted to get in your house you think that lock is going to stop him? So why do you lock it? Could it be because it might make it a little harder for him to get in, buy you some time, maybe he will get discouraged and move on????? Common sense laws will help prevent many deaths. That kid in TX should have never been able to get what he did on CREDIT with basically no background check. Minors records are sealed! Better vetting was one suggestion.. But since you cannot READ you missed it .. ALL you heard was ban - take- plan .... i'm out - not wasting another second on you. Your page is full of immature BS.. Go troll someone else because I'm not playing -

Linda Sullivan I never said the NRA creates these sociopaths. I said the NRA pays millions of dollars to members of Congress in order to sway their votes. This is a simple fact. And I never blames the fire arm. I myself have guns, lots of them. And I know that because I’m a responsible owner, nothing bad will happen with them. I never said we should take away anyone’s rights. But I do support some more comments sense measures, such as improved background checks (especially for 18-20 years old since their records are normally sealed), background checks for private sales, and requiring training and a permit to own a firearm. These things would do nothing to hurt or take away the rights from responsible gun owners like myself, but it could stop even just a few of the horrible crimes committed with firearms. Will it stop them all, absolutely not. Will it keep criminals who really want a weapon from getting them, absolutely not. But it will stop some. It will stop some of the impulse crimes, and the fact is the majority of gun owners support these measures. But any time any type of legislation is proposed, even if it’s really small, the NRA petitions the congressmen that they have funding to vote against it. That in itself should be illegal.

Nancy Belyea I have been a gun owner for 61 years. During active duty years I did not transport my guns because it is a hassle on base housing; imagine that.
The safest I have ever felt was the 7 years I lived in Japan where firearms are strictly controlled. I am in favor of limiting types and numbers of firearms among the general population.
There is good reason why weapons are placed in armory at the end of maneuvers. If professional warriors are not allowed weapons in barracks, housing, and about on base in general, why should a knucklehead who wants one have ready access?

Tiffany Nacey if you can’t maturely just answer a question, but can type over 5 excuses not to answer it , tells me you don’t have a plan . Because had you , you’d bragged about that plan instead of go Karen with excuses after another .
I scrolled up too and never saw your answer with a solution . On ANYONES COMMENT . So why not just admit you don’t know what would stop these from happening or any other gun death . They will happen no matter the weapon !
Thanks for playing I have no solution , today . Watch tomorrow when another contestant plays .

This made me cry. The Uvade shooting made me cry. All I can say is the rich, white, old men who are the NRA have no hearts or soul. The same goes for the rich, old, white men in congress whose only agenda is to get richer off the taxpayers and have unbelievable benefits for life. This poor little boy barely knew his parents and because he is so young he probably won't remember them. I live in Illinois and our governor told the NRA to "leave us alone" . In response to a tweet from the NRA. These people should be taken to the aftermath of a mass shooting, to see up close see for themselves. They are so out of touch with anything that goes on outside of D.C.

As long as we keep this corrupted Republican administration who is getting blood money from the gun industry to do nothing except deliberately promote hate racism and diversion they deliberately promote fear and they tell their own fan base if you vote Democratic you're second amendment will be violated. They take away healthcare from the mentally ill but they make sure they get those guns in their hands. And when the guns slaughter American children this promotes their other strategy it's called fear you need a gun to protect yourself but in reality look at all the other countries that doesn't have guns you don't see massive shootings. They're working for the gun industry when are people going to wake up and realize that.

Devastating. People only measure these mass shootings in terms of deaths/injuries because it's impossible to calculate the level of anguish and trauma for those left in its wake. A simple change to the laws could have made a difference in this case. He was on police radar for making threats to kill just a few years before. He had weapons confiscated. It's easy to blame his oafy trmp-hvmping father--and he is what he is--but we should have licensing in place that prevents high-risk candidates from getting licensed regardless of whether they have decent parents or not. But even that's a bridge too far for this country. No reasonable licensing board would have evaluated that 22 yr old as worthy of a gun license based on his past threats. But here we are.

Sylvia Wexler stop blaming political sides do you even realize the democrats hold the white house and majority in both the senate and house. Even they can't do anything about it because The second amendment is absolute and isn't going anywhere Karen the second amendment protects us law abiding citizens and shall not be infringed go throw a tantrum elsewhere because you can't get your way. Bad people always find ways to hurt others. The problem wont be solved by banning and blaming guns those who wish to do great harm to others will do it with or without a gun....a gun is a tool nothing more and any tool can do harm if used inappropriately. This shouldn't have happened and i feel sorry for those affected by a cruel mentally ill young adult.

10ºRyan Hey “why should ordinary citizens not have access to the same basic rifle as the government.” Because that’s just insane. I won’t bother you with the tanks and nukes argument, but suffice it to say that in the extremely unlikely scenario that the US military was ordered to turn on ordinary citizens, we would not last long. And again, that’s an extremely unlikely scenario because it assumes that military personnel are nothing but mindless drones who will follow any and all orders given to them by a superior. I’m not a gambler, but I’d bet my life savings that most (if not all) of them would disobey that order and remove that individual from power.
