It’s free money to someone in need. You know, like food assistance or rent assistance. To people in need. To quote you, “each state should have help for people when stuff like this happens”. Isn’t ‘help’ money? Stuff happens to people who lose their home or job, or ability to feed their kids. And you would be calling THAT welfare. Why don’t you call it that for yourself? First, look up the definition of "Force". Forcing something on someone is not giving them a choice. They had choices. Everyone did. My employer requested that I disclose my vaccination status to return to the office. If I didn't I couldn't work in the office, but other arrangements could be made.
In regards to rights not changing, that's rather rich. You realize that the constitution is written in a manner that at any point all of it can be repealed, rewritten and replaced right? It's literally the foundation of our constitution.
It only requires 2/3s of the states voting for it and 2/3 majority in the House and the Senate to repeal and replace an amendment. That means yes, the 2nd Amendment can be stripped, that right CAN be taken away, and it's a perfectly legal process to do so.
You clearly aren't a constitutional scholar by any means.
3ºKaitlin Cole - both are true. It's not one or the other. Yes, people are hurting and it is a horrible tragedy. And yes, it's political - people have been denying the reality of climate change and its predicted consequences for decades. Science has been warning us to stop pumping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere for decades - or we could expect these kinds of floods - and droughts, and wildfires, and sea-level rise, and heatwaves, etc. It's political, because many of us have tried to prevent these disasters, and others have denied they would happen. I am very sorry about what has happened to your community ... and many other communities, because politicians have catered to the oil industry, rather than caring for American communities, like yours.
4ºP-s Ali - I agree. None of us deserve this. Texas doesn't deserve the heatwave and heatdome they are current under. The folks, who were killed by an ice avalanche in Italy, didn't deserve that. People in Australia, who got 3 feet of rain in 24 hours - fourth major flood emergency in a year and a half ... they didn't deserve that, either. This kind of thing happens all over the world, more and more frequently - because our so-called "leaders" are too weak to take on the oil industry. If we do not stop dumping carbon molecules into the atmosphere, this only continues and gets worse, going forward.

1) You realize Biden wasn't in office until an entire year after the "Scamdemic" started, right? People were out of work well before he took office.
2) He never tried to force vaccine mandates. He made government employees get vaccinated (or find a different job, they had a choice so it wasn't forced) and required businesses with over a hundred people working in a building at the same time to report their vaccination status.
3) He never even came close to touching the 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment doesn't specify what kind of guns you can own, just that you're allowed to own them. Trying to ban a specific style of weapon, when many are already banned, isn't an infringement on your rights.
So yeah, feel free to educate me further.
6ºJackie Cofield amen I lost everything I owned last august in the same county as this one FEMA didn’t help us at all been almost a year and still waiting on help from state to get people money so they can rebuild this should t have anything to do with if your red or blue this is a disaster not a political party until you loose everything you own like your home vehicle buildings ect you don’t know what these people are going through I went through this last august I am still misplaced and dint have. A home just makes me so mad for people to say stuff like this when people are hurting and will be hurting for years done the road
7ºWhy make everything political? It doesn't matter who supports whom. These are human beings that are loved. They have family & friends that are worried sick about them. For anyone to make this political is pathetic. I hope none of you has to go through what they are right now. I live in this county & I don't support Trump but I also don't support Biden. Honestly politics sickens me because of what it has done to our country. I'd be so ashamed to comment on a post like this & poke fun of the ones missing or who live here, just because it is assumed that everyone here is a "Trump Lover" Be better! Do better!

Or are you the ones in control?! Exalted is Allaah the One the Overpowering the Controller, only He can cause change and all that is good and evil lies in His hands but most people do not know. Indeed, those who made up the theory of global warming are liars, and Allaah has sent Coronavirus to be contagious at the beginning so that it locks up the whole world in their houses and stops carbon dioxide emissions to obliterate the fabricated global falsehood theory: "the reason behind climatic disasters is the accumulation of the carbon dioxide emissions from human factories". Then Allaah increases the intensity of His climatic war so that you grasp that the reason behind climate disasters is not the emissions of Carbon dioxide, but there is another reason. The ruling of me, Allaah's caliph Al-Mahdi 17 years ago had reflected that Allaah's climatic war will intensify due to the approach of Planet Saqar which has affected the Sun, Moon, Earth and what is around them of Allaah's creation in the Solar System. Also, the ruling of me, Allaah's caliph Al-Mahdi Nasser Mohammed Al-Yamani, which had been issued 17 years ago stated that the reason behind the intensification of the so-called climate disasters is due to Planet Saqar that came from the depth of the north polar side that is what my Lord taught me that it comes from the far north and turns from the top of the sun, causing unusual explosions of solar volcanoes.

Then the caliph of Allaah, Al-Mahdi Nasser Mohammed Al-Yamani, replies to you and says: "So listen and understand what I will teach you and give you a ruling about with the truth; It is the solar volcanic eruptions that cause abrupt flood disasters that climatologists and meteorologists did not take into account, and I am not addressing the usual solar activity that keeps the warmth and [heat] equilibrium of the Earth; but solar volcanic activities where the flames reach a height of millions of kilometers above the surface of the sun from the top, the bottom, the north and the south. And the great number of solar eruptions is one of the signs of verification of the caliph of Allaah, Al-Mahdi Nasser Mohammed Al-Yamani, because I warned people against their repetition and continuity due to the passing of Planet Saqar from above and below the sun during the rotation between the heaven and Earth, and soon enough there will be an Aurora Polaris consisting of only one bright yellow color pleasing to the beholder that symbolizes the yellow card for those who fear Allaah's greatest torment, and the signs and warnings do not avail against people who do not believe that Allaah is truly in control of the kingdom of the heavens and the Earth and in control of the kingdom of everything. Is there any doubt about Allaah, the Originator of the heavens and the Earth, O you who deny the Lord of the worlds?! He certainly tormented you with something of the lesser torment that perhaps you may return [to Him], but you have cast Him away behind your backs as if He does not exist, Exalted is He! He is the One who created the universe out of nowhere through the word "be" and so it has become a planet of one joined cumulated entity then He created another planet to cause the explosion and big bang so that you may know that Allaah is capable of doing everything and that He has encompassed everything in knowledge; would He not know whomever He has created, while He is the Subtle, the All-Aware?".
