Fast forward a few months and the Biden Administration was all over oil companies to quit stalling and drill, but his policies made it nonprofitable. The news latched onto the story and made it seem like the oil companies were being greedy and it’s all their fault, but the truth is that’s far from accused it’s not just big oil, as many need to sell at a decent price but we’re absolutely effected by media nonsense. You keep saying do research, but I’m wondering if your living it or just getting your news from what CNN tells you, as it has to be Main Stream Media as it has zero basis on truth or anything of the sort. I asked you to look at the timeline, so look up what prices were under Trump(not a fan) compared to Biden all the way up to the Russian invasion of Ukrainian. I feel like you are intelligent but very misled, don’t be that person speaking about something they know nothing about other than media opinion and damage control points. I’ve been watching oil prices and the effects politics brought on it since I was a very young man and I’m 45 now. George W Bush wasn’t great towards the end of his term, Obama was great for others but not good for us, then there was Biden and he was both the best and worst for me, but it’s easy if you look at the timeline. As one of the worlds largest users and producers of oil and gas it’s hard to deny the fact that it effects global prices. I’m half asleep, still trying to help any of you understand though. Afghanistan was factually Trumps doing, Biden had zero choice but to acknowledge the treaty Trump made, if not for the time extension we would have numerous Americans at the mercy of the Taliban. Note Trump withdrew our troops left a skeleton crew us military people call it to hold the Fort till we can evacuate all of interest. Note the Afghanistan military we trained are the ones who didn't put up a resistance and laid their weapons down they were given to use to defend their country and were properly trained. Note many more Americans could've died if not for Biden getting out those who didn't heed to Trumps withdrawal and ensure they can leave in a timely manner from Trumps deadline agreement with the Taliban. Note our service personnel ensured weapons left by our military were rendered useless if the Taliban gets control of them. Note those who remained simply took their own safety in their own hands, in no way is that this administration fault as we give ample warnings through daily Web sites and even personal messages to all Americans from our embassy to ensure all Americans have proper knowledge what's going on. The oil to China well we sold oil to India and other European countries as well. This was to hault Russia in making profits selling our oil less and getting as a player in the oil business world wide to ensure oil companies have to produce more and lower the price per barrel. We can see that its working as well check your local gas prices since this began. Trump factually before leaving office asked OPEC to lesson their output, why its beyond me since covid restrictions were being lifted around the globe at the same time causing consumer demands to be much higher. This caused the oil prices to jump world wide as consumer demands were not met and countries had to go to their reserves and use it to try to meet consumer demands which they in return have to buy to replace their reserves at higher prices if they could. Oil prices higher make consumer goods as well higher due to cost in making and distribution of consumer goods at the same time companies didn't have a strong workforce to make enough goods to meet such consumer demands globally. Is that explained well enough for you to grasp the factual reasonings in why its a world wide problem and how the only way to fix this is by oil companies to produce enough oil and businesses to have a proper work force to meet consumer demands! Which has zero to do with Biden or our government?

I'll point you to a fact. Veterans such as homeless Vietnam veterans being homeless politicians use this to get votes, medication cost, education, health care and many others every year they promise a fix yet tell me how far back in our history just on the few I mentioned are not fixed? See its called a political tool to ensure a vote yet they don't want to really fix such issues then they have no tool to ensure ones vote so in this country you really vote for the lessor of the evils, in last election no choice for majority of Americans but vote for Biden, next election it will be the same. Its more about keeping their pockets filled and ensuring their major contributors they will stay rich and get paid off. Look at the wall it was a tool yet the tax payers paid for it in the long run and the contractors simply made their wealth and disappeared even though it was funded. What wall is there mainly? Gas prices have an impact on prices of everything, and from day one under Biden they started to go up with his war on fossil fuels in not so good of a time for that, but my family owns an oil production company so it’s better for me than some others for sure. You are the poster child for doing more research, why would our inflation rise higher than other places with the same issues? The pandemic is not the only reason, restricting drilling and then calling out the oils businesses for not drilling when it’s no longer profitable is a really bad idea, and it shows. If you do actually research don’t forget to look at executive orders in Biden’s first week and how it effected everything from that point forward, as well as following the timeline. I don’t feel like your opinion pieces from MSM are pointing you in the right direction. Feel free to get back to me after some research, but I’m trying to help you by setting you in the right direction, and zero MSM is going to do that for you. 6ºColleen Deanne Gomez yes agree it is definitely Airlines fault when consumers can pay these high fare rates yet the airline industry can't meet consumer demands because of employment problems. It will still take time to fix many businesses due to employment shortage and greed by businesses on profits. People use to boycott businesses due to they can't meet consumer demands but have no problem with raising prices to ensure huge profits. Maybe consumers should realise this and resort to boycotting companies who refuse to acknowledge consumer demands. Possible outcome will force these companies to hire employees and meet consumer demands. Otherwise the business will fold. 7ºI just came back from grocery shopping and I'm in shock at how much the prices of things I've been buying for years have increased by $1.50 or more...cereal, eggs, frozen breakfast biscuits, sliced ham, cheese...today is the first time I've noticed such a big jump in prices...I mean jump, not tiptoe increases...I did notice the ramen noodle section was almost empty...this is sad and scary...the elderly man checking out in front of me had some rice and 5 packs of 25 cent ramen noodles...that's not good nutrition but it's very likely all he could afford...something has got to be done...I worry about how bad things will be when I get to be that mans age...sad times...

Unless you're some kind of ghoul who profits off others misfortune, I would venture to say that nobody should be too enthusiastic about the next few years. 9ºThere sure are a lot of whiners on here. I guess it is easier to complain than it is to adjust spending habits. Consumer spending has not slowed for luxury items, travel, fast food, beef, seafood, kids sports, new clothes,etc. All unnecessary spending has been halted in my home, I am bypassing $5 items at the dollar store that I like but do not need. Our ancestors knew how to make do when times were hard, find the oldest person you can locate and start asking questions. You might be humbled just a bit. Start checking with your neighbors to see if they might need something you can do without, grow food, check out online community swap and trade sites, hit up thrift stores, make homes multi-generational again. We will all get through this.
