If we look at Putins rhetoric its the same as Trumps and the winning mentality. Putin lied about the reasons for invading Ukraine, used threat of nuclear war if NATO sent troops into Ukraine, even though Putin sent Chechens and Syrians into Ukraine. Putin has rigged numerous elections to remain in power, which if we look at Jeannine Pirro and her comments about starting a civil war in the U.S. if Trump was impeached, you can see the rhetoric is the same, just different people using different words to say the same thing.
Putin complained about NATO expanding as did Trump complain about U.S. expansion. Both the NATO and the U.S. are being same entity in the mind of both men.
Trump removed U.S. troops from Europe, not at the behest of European nations, but at the behest of Russian agents positioned carefully who influenced the European nations to remove all U.S. presence from Europe.
With U.S. troops removed from Europe and the sudden invasion of Ukraine by Russia that caused gas prices to soar dramatically, for the U.S. to re-establish bases in Europe would be astronamical, thus Trump aided in weakening Europe and blocking the U.S. from re-establishing a presence in Europe. A presence that would have kept Russia from invading Ukraine.
