- Why wasn’t he simply ticketed for the dark tint and expired registration? Many people get the early renewal in the mail and forget about.
- Why did the registration status give the police permission to search his car? You don’t have to consent to a vehicle search just because of a simple traffic stop.
- There is nothing here to suggest that the pain meds were not his and prescribed to him. Unless someone knows otherwise, this is a non-issue.
Thousands of white kids all across the country OD’ing on Opioids. Thousands of white kids driving every day with dark tint, expired registration and license. And yet it’s necessary to arrest this black man on BS?
Gotta love the bias of the criminal justice system that seeks to make being black a crime. Looking forward to #2040 when the demographics of the US will be irreversibly corrected once and for all. 18 more years and we begin stomping racial bias.
2ºI met a guy in a counter diner out in Montana several years ago. As we were talking over our burgers, we talked about work and such. Explained what I did at the time and he said he was retired driver. I asked long haul and he said “Something like that. I ran things across the country that, you know, could get someone into trouble.”
One of the things he talked about that kept him clean and clear was keeping the car’s paperwork up to date and running a basic vehicle. Also said he never drove more than 8 mph over the speed limit, often took secondary roads and never did anything to stand out as unusual.
I don’t know if the guy was putting me on or what, but he made sense.
