Let's focus on the real problem, which is the ability he had to get a firearm he never should have. I had friends at the parade that day. One of them ended up shielding a two-year-old girl whose mother had been shot. Most of us want to find a lasting solution for this problem we have in our country. Some, like you, only want to use these tragedies for your political agenda. I would suggest you do some research before doing so.

And black lives matter was founded on a lie and it continues to be founded on a lie because every study has shown that there is no wholesale killing of people of color by police. In fact, the biggest culprit in the killing of people of color is other people of color. If black lies matter really cared about black lives they would decry that instead of creating a false narrative with which to loot and Riot and burn. I guess you haven't been keeping up with the fact that the two founders of that fraudulent organization are admitted communist and used money that they collected supposedly to help people of color to buy themselves million dollar homes in white gated communities. 5ºPut him to sleep & be done! Let’s not waste taxpayers money & make this a long drawn out process. Let’s not waste taxpayers money providing his needs while in prison for life. We don’t need to study him, counsel him or try & figure the reason he committed the crime! Simply charge him & put him to sleep. Enough is Enough. We need to stop pretending that we care, want to rehabilitate & allow him rights! Yes he may be mentally ill, incarceration will not cure that. If you can commit a crime of this nature, you can only serve the purpose of “Being an Example” of what will happen to the next person who chooses to commit a crime of this nature.

I personally reserve "infuriating" for investigations that don't take enough time and thoroughness so end up with a miscarriage of justice that isn't rectified until after some innocent person has been sitting in prison for decades. Something certain segments of our population have been dealing with for oh, couple hundred years. In this, I agree with many founding fathers who believed it was better ten guilty go free than one innocent is imprisoned. Waiting two or three years for this guy to face justice if it means a better outcome for the next innocent person is something I'm not getting infuriated over.

We are millions short employed. Millions aren’t collecting nor looking meaning a lower unemployment rate ? You understand unemployed aren’t counted in the unemployment rate when they meet those criteria? Jobless rates are rising. People are being laid off. Economy is going to fall into a recession. My question is "why did he do this" ...

Well the fact that you, in spite of the fact that all of the evidence showed that the killing was absolutely Justified as self-defense and you choose to ignore what a jury said after they heard all of the evidence, and in fact I live streamed every minute of the trial and blogged about it so I know more about it than you will ever hope to know, tells me all I need to know about you. Go hide in your little safe space and believe what you want to believe while I choose to believe the facts and evidence.

What have we become that young men feel they need to do this ...
We have failed this person ...
All of us ...
But,
Saying that we failed will not bring the people he killed back to us ... living.
We ... as a society ... need to begin to see that all of us need to take responsibility for the "WHY" ... and work forward to fix/stop this kind of failure of humanity.
I have no answers ... just heartfelt pain for this young man, for the people who lost family, friends ... for the rest of us who feel helpless ...
We must try harder ...
