It’s a double dip for the company. They get more sales by appearing more moral for having charity support and by supporting said charities, which makes them more money, and instead of your donations being something that *you’re* doing, those donations are actually just tax write offs, which allows them to hold more of their profits.

So instead, donate yourself. Don’t stop doing good just because scumbags are trying to take advantage of your generosity.
