As the world’s largest dedicated independent semiconductor factory, it’s no surprise that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) is one of the largest companies in Taiwan, and in the world.

Funny how Pelosi’s husband just made a large Nvidia investment in the last 2 weeks?????

Does Nvidia manufacture in the US?| Where Is Nvidia Manufactured?

No, Nvidia doesn’t manufacture in the US
Nvidia doesn’t have there own manufacturing plant but it has a contract with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing for the production of the chips
They do not make their products. Instead, they conduct R&D and design and then outsource their prototypes to Asian firms.

Trudi Bakosky Parker that's like saying it's Ukraine's fault that Russia invaded them.

I don't understand the world view of Republicans - and I don't think they do either.

They simultaneously support the Iraq war, and cheer when Trump called it a clusterf*ck;

they say Obama bows to the Saudis, yet applaud when Trump fete's them on his golf course;

they bitterly condemn Russia and "communism" yet don't bat an eye when Trump kicks the translators out, and has Russia's spymaster into the oval office for an off-the-record meet.

The only thing consistent about republicans is their lack of consistency.

The United States has a vested interest in Taiwan. With China looming in the background, ready to pounce (much like Putin has done with Ukraine), the visit (although controversial), was meant as a sign of solidarity with Taiwan and a sends a message to China that we are not going to leave Taiwan high and dry if they choose to make a move. No one wants to see more conflict. Hopefully, there will be no need for it.
Washington Post Article:
“Some 43 years ago, the United States Congress overwhelmingly passed — and President Jimmy Carter signed into law — the Taiwan Relations Act, one of the most important pillars of U.S. foreign policy in the Asia Pacific.
The Taiwan Relations Act set out America’s commitment to a democratic Taiwan, providing the framework for an economic and diplomatic relationship that would quickly flourish into a key partnership. It fostered a deep friendship rooted in shared interests and values: self-determination and self-government, democracy and freedom, human dignity and human rights.”

China must remember that if it was not for the West they would not be in the financial position they are now.In short the West made them rich and if they choose can make them poor again by moving production to their own shores.Time to admit that globalisation was a massive error and all jobs must go back home where they belong.No ways can the whole world depend on below standard products made in one country.Its going to prove to be a big mistake if something goes wrong with that country.In short its dangerous to keep all your eggs in one basket.A heavy price is going to be paid sometime in the future if the world doesnt wake up and rectify this massive blunder
