1ºGlen Cagungao Provost total misunderstanding by average consumers is so frustrating. The phones battery is gonna degrade over time just like any phone. Only difference with apple is their phones are able to support updates for several years so when an older phone released in 2016 gets the new iOS update that’s made with 2022 tech in mind the phone has to operate differently to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They’re not making them slower so you can buy a new one but they’re showing them down because a 6 year old phone can’t handle the full scope of brand new os. Again the alternative is having an android that gets 2 maybe 3 years if software updates if you’re lucky.
