No coverage here, so how about some Real news?
So I’ve been doing some calculations around the whole IRS hiring 87,000 agents thing. There are 179 billionaires in the US. Let’s say for overkill they audit everyone of them every year, not going to happen, but let’s just go with it. That leaves 85,210 for the rest of us. That alone is scary. Then let’s add up all the salaries vs. the projected money they plan to take from the economy. 87,000 agents probably includes supervisors, managers, directors, admins, not to mention all their additional expenses, government cars, additional offices, office suppliers etc.

So, if we say for every 20 people will be a supervisor and a manager and every 40 there will be a director. According to open door, an IRS agent makes almost $82,000 per yea, Double what the average US citizen makes, plus government benefits so they cost about $160,000 plus all those other costs above, so let’s round it out to $180,000 per year! If you times the number of agents minus the management of 4,350. That alone adds up to almost $15,000,000,000. Now for round numbers, let’s take the 4,350 managers times their salaries, oh and they get bonuses and there are 3 levels of managers, but let’s stick with a midrange mgr and Only one instead of 3. So 4350 x $220,000 after salaries, government benefits, car, and support costs comes to almost a Billion more. That means that besides taking $200 Billion out of the economy it will cost about 15 Billion to do it. Keep that in mind when you hear these politicians talk about sending $30 Billion More somewhere what it takes to get that kind of money. Biden’s budget for just this year is over 6 TRILLION! It seems to me we do not have a collection problem. We have a spending problem

Alexis Hicks Understood, and I do as well. I've been following Mandy Manteny's podcast, concerning this family for a year, though its been going on a lot longer. But, all I'm saying is, the Murdaugh family is not a representation of South Carolinians, by any stretch of the familial imagination, and Hampton Country is a small town/community in lower SC. But, sure, like most everywhere, there are people who tend to get away with more than the so called, 'average bear,' but as I stated earlier, most people in SC, not from that region, I would feel comfortable in saying, did not know, or knew very little of the Murdaugh family.
