Charles Gourd I Condemn all racism.. It just seems to me and other people that the definition of racism is such a broad definition, in other words If I am a Republican, According to the far left I must be a racist. And it’s getting out-of-control. And I think it’s bad on both the far left and the far right. We are supposed to be working together and not against each other. We all have different opinions on certain issues. That’s just human nature. But I don’t hate anyone. I have three girls, and they have different opinions on all different subjects. We all get along, we don’t all have to agree on every subject. I will not let this destroy my relationship with my family, or want to destroy any relationships with friends. before the Internet we never had this huge hatred amongst everybody, everybody has a platform now, and it’s really getting out of control. And when a news media picks aside, again if it’s the far left of the far right, we start arguing with people we don’t even know. I hope someday more people Will realize this, because growing up we never realized That this would be happening. Just know I don’t care what your affiliation is, I would hope that you and I would have a civil conversation and respect each other’s position.

Just reading some of the comments is gaslighting. Just imagine spending your WHOLE life being gaslit & your entire existence not being believed on TOP of being stereotyped and treated with blatant disregard. Being told if you don’t like it, leave, from a country you were born in and that your ancestors helped to build. Just imagine that for a moment. Put out of your mind every single stereotype, bigoted thought, summon your heart & empathy and just IMAGINE this. And not just for one person but generation after generation after generation. ️ supremacy is real and it is very much alive. If you think a whole race of people are playing victim, especially when they’re of all different class, income, education levels, only linking thread is the color of their skin-think again. I know ppl are fighting HARD to suppress & even destroy records & information so they can continue to gaslight & protect what they feel is being “threatened” but while the records and receipts & TRUE stories are still out there, do your research! Put all of your bias aside & view the FACTS. I guarantee you will see what a rabbit hole and intertwined system of DESIGN is America!! It’s designed to preserve & elevate a certain race and keep all other races “in check” and less than. It’s designed for division and segregation DESPITE all of the “performative” actions and even “laws” that APPEAR to strike these things down. America is like the abusive parents that put on a perfect impression in public places but behind closed doors is a house of dysfunction and abuses. I get it, when things don’t affect you and you’ve been told your whole life it’s not true, it’s hard to see the truth! It’s even harder when those that KNOW the truth obstruct it from your view by banning & burning books and by restricting information as well as twisting & whitewashing the information. But for right now it is out there still & there’s no excuse to not educate yourself and help to make change!

Ålysę Źacharÿ i’m from that generation too I’m also a poc, I don’t feel shamed at all . and I know the party that made all of these laws and rules but all of that has been changed 65 republicans passed the civil rights act by the early 70s 10 years later the majority of it was gone . we all got along in the 80s it got even better in the 90s it was almost not even heard of people of color started switching parties ironically all of a sudden it became an issue again .. I don’t need to learn from it I lived it . Look what it’s doing to our country look how it’s enabling criminal behavior . Look how is used as a crutch . and look at the party that keeps pushing it literally every day in the media . if you’ve got a put the color of someone’s race in front of a news article then you’re the racist . CRT has no place in school kids curriculum I’ve read the curriculum and it’s inherently racist .. From the idea that white people are congenitally disabled by virtue of being born white to the bigotry of low expectations. Imagine you’re being chased by a rabid lion. As you’re running for your life, you scream “Help, I’m being chased by a rabid lion.” A person with a rifle, who could easily shoot the creature, sees you and hears your cry for help, but says, “Actually, that’s not a lion. It’s a leopard. Since you’re being inaccurate, I won’t bother saving you.”

Would that be an absurd thing to say? Regardless of its label, a rabid, man-eater is chasing you. The gunman would be missing the point, and to your fatal detriment. A rabid beast, by any other name, is still a rabid beast.

John Prelog I'm just fooling with ya those folks should have looked into the company more honestly it looks like after reading the story they may have been I'll informed honestly, I've been buying houses for nearly 16 years I have 13 rent houses in Oklahoma and lease 2800 acres of mine out in Kansas Nebraska and Colorado, man I'm always getting ripped off seems like by someone not paying rent or yearly dues, it's a messed up situation in the real estate business at the moment, but people need to do the research and get informed on alot of financial thing when it comes to buying or selling

This happened to me in 1993 on a refinance when rates dropped from 10% to 7%. White appraiser low balled my home we brought in 1991. It was in a changing neighborhood that was still majority white in Jackson Mississippi. Homes were selling for almost 35% more then we paid as whites were doing their white flight thing. He didn't know it we brought it as a foreclosure. He apprised it slightly lower the foreclosure price we paid so we were able to refinance. Then I took his appraisal to the tax office and was able to get my property taxes reduced. He tried to hurt us but instead helped us. Also, the mortgage company we were refinancing with thought we were trying to get a lower note. We told him no, we wanted to go from 30 years to a 15 years mortgage. Rates had dropped enough then that our note increase less then $50. Thank you racist white man for trying to screw us because you actually helped us.

I’m not sure how they can say this is because of race l…It’s possible, but real estate is pretty well regulated with standards for appraisals. One particular appraiser selected THE closest houses he thought were comparable (and nothing stated the appraiser did anything against standards). What do tax records say? Similar to the homes he selected?

They picked another online mortgage company, with a different appraiser and value was appraised against the entire city (and likely much nicer houses…so the mortgage company could get the deal closed).

Just because they say they removed their family pics from the house, doesn’t prove racism…Its REALLY common for 2 appraisers to come up with different values. I see it all the time in our local real estate forums.

You can complain all you want, or you can pay for a 2nd appraisal.

How is this house taxed?
Were the schools/city the same as other homes appraisal 1?
There is a fact pattern to what the first appraiser selected…we might fund appraisal 2 is crazy.

Happens all the time. I plan to have one of my white friends pretend my house is theirs when the appraiser comes and have my realtor put in the paperwork that the owner is white. A black woman on the news said she had her house appraised THREE times because each appraiser marked the value of her house SIGNIFICANTLY lower than surrounding homes not as nice as hers. She asked a white male friend to pretend the house was his for the next appraisal. Guess what? The appraiser marked the house $75,000 more in value than the other appraisers. I’ve been planning to do this for months because of this report. Definitely now with seeing this article. And if this plan doesn’t happen and an appraiser plays games with me they’ll have a law suit on their hands. I bet a lot of you don’t even know this happens or deny that it does. Privilege is a thing. Only for certain people. And what’s sad is this happens in other areas in life. That’s why it’s so much harder for us to get ahead in life because there are those out there that want to keep us down. 2022 and we still can’t live equal to everyone else.

The solution will not be banks getting (and paying for) a few appraisals, it will be for them to remove the human element from the equation per hearings.

I live in s place that is more desireable than a mile away although the houses are larger. Not that the bricks aren’t nice or kept up there. But when you go there at night, the weirdos about town, the hanging around all the storefronts. The train tracks and horns, All come into play.

Basically, I would choose not to live there. And ta da, that is market principles in a nutshell.

I have yet to hear a woman say “wow, that is some beautiful square footage, who cares about the school system.”

The real problem is what happens around you. People sell themselves short hurts your value. Having customer base uncomfortable with living in that area because of the gang graffiti, that oddball who painted his house with checkerboard, the person who has 5 junk cars yet to be fixed up on his lawn, the business types nearby, all come into play… it is human nature.

The twin house located adjacent to a sewage plant likely will consistently draw less value then its twin over on the other side of the neighborhood which rarely gets the scent, is still less value than a third who is in a differing neighborhood that is less impacted by the plant at all.

Under the Biden administration, violent crime continues to rise across the country, particularly in cities controlled by Democrats, such as Baltimore and Chicago. Regardless of this alarming trend, neither President Biden nor the leaders of his Democratic Party have taken significant steps to combat increasing crime, or even shown serious concern about the uptick.

Following the May 2020 death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police, and the subsequent ludicrous push to defund police departments, violent crime hasn’t let up. Some mayors are struggling to walk the line of supporting police officers while also caving to the pressures of vocal progressives who push to defund and reform police agencies. Some cities have reversed the decision to lower funding to police. And in many cities, morale among officers has plunged so low that a June survey of nearly 200 police departments by the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) shows a 45 percent increase in retirement rates and nearly a 20 percent increase in resignations.

President Biden’s lack of commitment to America’s law enforcement community — which he relies upon — is causing officers to quit because, understandably, many no longer want to do the job. The result may be that neighborhoods are more unsafe and Americans are more likely to become crime victims. In many ways, America is effectively less safe than it was five years ago, and the group to blame for this unfolding tragedy is Democrats who have advocated for severely limiting police budgets, effectively taking away resources or officers to combat violent criminals.

Let’s Go Brandon

10ºJessica Fernandez your grandfather fled communism and came to a country that has a history of racism against people of African descent. When your grandfather came over here he enjoyed every liberty and freedom that were not given to actual citizens of this country. These citizens had roots in this country since the 17th century.... colonial times . Your grandfather came here and thrived off of every right that a minority had in present times due to the blood, sweat and tears of black Americans who risked their lives to vote and end segregation for hundrrds of years. It's people like you that have no clue about American history( Florida education I assume ) and how the fight for civil rights that started after "the war between states" benefited brown/yellow/black skin citizens and immigrants of today. Strange thing is... black people fought the fight and everyone else reaped the benefits more easily.

So continue on being a "Florida Woman", continue being ignorant of American society and the gains you have due to someone else always being a "victim".

I can guarantee when your grandfather made it here. It was racial discord going on in the country and black people were fighting and dying to be treated equally.
