1ºThe fact that W.S slapped him for Jada really confuses me! Like ok, you’re going to choose to remain married to her after she publicly humiliated you., that’s on you. But to publicly defend and ‘honor’ her as if she didn’t take you on her red table talk show and record you while saying she cheated on you. That’s on a different level of low self esteem. I can’t imagine how your mother felt watching you do that red table talk thing, I know as a mother of a son if I watched a woman do that to him, I would be livid. I would certainly advice him to be very very cautious of such a person if he decided to remain with them. Needless to say, I would advice him to not remain married to such a person, but I can’t control other people’s actions, but I would certainly have my opinion on it.
2ºMauro Meness Rmz Yeah, actually a huge part of being a comedian is to insult other people! And this is especially true when you are the host of an awards show! To make jokes about the celebrities in the audience! This isn’t some new trend! This is how it’s always been and everybody else in award shows past, seemed to be mature and stable minded enough to take it all in good fun! It wasn’t even that great of an insult! He could have talked about how she cheats on Will! Will has also insulted many in his day too so please with his shameless hypocrisy!
3ºI am happy to make this comment , my wife and I are now happily back together. I have to say it was effortlessly done! Within 48 hours, My wife left me a year ago with my one kid, the longer she’s gone, the more I see what a coward I was at first I blamed her for leaving. I told her she was ‘wrong’. In fact, I slapped Scripture on her, trying to guilt-induce her any way I could. My anger make me only to pushed her farther away. I can’t believe the way I acted. 4ºShimon Nyman, oh. Okay, but it’s okay to uplift violence on our race and praise it. As mockery, that’s a lie. Will Smith had no business putting his hands on Chris Rock, especially at the Oscars.
Bottom line is, Smith was out of line with the assault and Jada was out of line saying nothing and, yes, Rock was out of line with sensitive joke but he broke no law or put his hands on anybody even after Will slapped him. He was the better person and handled it professionally.
Lesson learned for Will Smith and his wife, Jada Smith; know how to act if you feel insulted and be the better person or be thug and deal with the repercussions that will stain your reputation, fine you generously, and cause you to not attend an elite event or receive any more awards because of committing a CRIME when you could have handled it the right way.
I’m entitled to my point of views as anyone else but please don’t try to turn it into something it’s not because you’re offended.
5ºI think it was hateful for Chris to go in on Jada for the second time at the Oscars. It was an important night for the Smith's as Will was the 6th African American to win a best actor/actress award. Sydney Portier, Jamie Foxx, Forrest Whitaker, Hailey Berry, Denzel Washington, and Will Smith. The first time he spoke about Jada, he compared her absence to Rhianna's panties. Then he came with the GI jane joke. Which was not funny, and neither joke was scripted. Chris Rock was Jealous, and just came up with a disrespectful joke on an important night. He should have stuck to the script. If they allow him to host, I am not watching.
