2ºDavid Kimball This defunding of the police is a complete lie, and utter bs. The dems are not for defunding the police. The repubs make that lie up to fool you. And it worked. Biden wanted to give more funding to the police. And no defunding of the police has yet to even happen. So that's a big lie. Were there a few people left of center who wanted to do that? Perhaps. But that's just a small minority and it never happened. So to say dems want to defund the police is completely outrageous. And you cannot even provide proof that that has occurred. All you can do is repeat repub lies and taglines. And the border situation is the same as it has always been for decades. Not a dem caused problem. Not that you have been there to see it for yourself. Again you just repeat what you are told. And frankly, these people crossing the border are decent hardworking folks desparate for better lives. I would rather have them in my country, than these deranged white anti American domestic terrorists who attempt coups and try and take over our democracy by attacking the capitol when they lose.

3 provides an opportunity for two people to openly share information so to better inform each.
4 provides an opportunity if not obtuse for either side to understand the other side better. (Not necessarily right or wrong but to understand and possible create a moment where one could possibly learn new information they didn't know and change position or to be able to understand why they disagree better and maybe make a solution.
4ºPatrick Russell so you think the parents checked all the kids that shot up schools? The parents themselves said oh my kid is good and I didn't think they would ever do that? How many parents are checking their kids phones that are on tik tok and all other social medias doing the next dumb challenges or dressing half naked?? You better wake the hell up and stop living under a rock. You can't be that ignorant!! There's still some parents that are old fashioned and check their kids but the numbers are way lower than they used to be. The way of life has changed and these kids now are very private. If you don't believe that and have kids then you might have a problem yourself.

Americans will have the republican party to thank over the next few years when more and more students decide to literally bring guns to school to defend themselves against school shooters, and teachers having guns, and you watch at some point coming to you soon straight from TEXAS, AS FACT, you will see teachers shoot the wrong kid, kid shoots a teacher by accident, gunfire erupting from several indeterminate sources in the school, kids teachers and the like dropping like flies, guns here guns there, and all within the confines of the school walls. Dead kids teachers and the like.

7ºPatrick Russell that is great!! I'm retired military and my oldest just got out, my daughter is an actress and singer, my youngest son just graduated and now has a great job at the age of 18. My point is that not every parent is made from the same cloth. The new generation has access to way more than we did coming up. Alot of Parents now put devices in the kids hands to keep them away from them especially when they had a long day. Also like I told another person, you can go to YouTube and watch parents teaching little kids to shoot. So don't think this 4 year old doesn't have an understanding of what he's doing. This kid has the since to know oh my dad or mom never checks my bag so I know I can get away with it. So again stop thinking that every parent has the same parenting you or myself because that's just not true. Why do you think we are seeing on the news now about parents leaving their kids to die in cars from heat? To many of them lack.
