1ºMarísa Chantal You mean gender identity and Equity. Yes, that’s political. Kids can’t pass standard exams, but teachers are worried about this because, admit it, they want to convert kids early. On the one hand, I think this is overblown. I don’t have school age children any more, but if I did, I would just make sure that after their teachers were done with their indoctrination, I would much more forcefully run my own indoctrination program to correct any BS they learn in school. These parents need to quit whining and just teach these kids how wrong these teachers are.

They also were part of the disinformation campaign to support their mask policies. Their ties to the Biden admin as exposed by their direct involvement with the DOJ claim that parents involvement and push back against extreme ideological curriculum is "domestic terrorism", is a direct result of the powerful partisain Democrat Teachers unions.
One good thing did come out of the COVID pandemic, parents learned what the teachers unions have slowly been doing in school boards, and just how extreme they had become.

Update: after reading some of these comments I see I hit a nerve here. I'm not saying all teachers are bad but there are enough that society is being altered by this indoctrination going on in our schools (CRT). AND DON'T TELL ME IT'S NOT BEING TOUGH BECAUSE WE KNOW IT IS!! The school system in some places have taken over the role of parents and I have a problem with that. There will always be cases where that intervention may be needed due to inadequate and unfit parents. That is being used as an excuse to continue their liberal indoctrination. It's not your job to teach kids morality and what they believe in, that's the parents responsibility. Your job is to teach them how to read and write so they can maneuver in this world. Our kids are coming out of school worthless in some cases more than ever.
